I was very disappointed with this hotel. It promise a lot but deliver so little that it is insulting. The room I was in had no air conditioner and it was hot, we had to open the balcony doors and mosquitoes invaded the room so we had to close the doors and hope to sleep so we can return home. It also had the bathroom with mold in the corners of the bathroom, it's disgusting to find out the lack of cleaning. The floors weren't clean, they were dusty and falling apart in some areas. There was an electric heater with a fire effect that needs a lightbulb replacement. One fan had the lamp cracked and the bed sheets were stained. The food is below average, the menus on the breakfast aren't delicious, keeps you wonder how do they serve food that taste so gross! The scrambled eggs were horribly raw and you can taste the yolk. There were raw plantains in the menu too and the pancakes where bad tasting too. Do you enjoy chicken neck? Because they serve that in the breakfast too and how about the new year drama... We were told that the breakfast will be served around (because they have no organization regarding starting point of anything or the front desk girls just have no idea) 7:00 to 8:00 (when the staff feels like it should start, sometimes early sometimes late so it's around that timeframe) so all the guests arrived to eat but there was no one on the hotel. Every staff member partied hard and we're sleeping... The cleaning lady had to help us call someone in charge to wake up the kitchen staff so that they could come and serve the breakfast. That day the breakfast was served at 8:47 am and because it was rushed it tasted terrible. We purchased a new year buffet entry and the food was bland and the service was inexistent. There was supposed to be a waiter that will guide us to our table but that didn't happen. We were waiting but saw that such waiter will never come. The pool bar was another pathetic experience, the bartender was so busy flirting with another person that downright was annoyed that I was there, waiting for almost 10 minutes to be attended and the annoyance was visible in his face. Sorry to bother in your flirting hours. Coming to this place just makes you appreciate your home more. To me it made my family want to leave as soon as possible. It's not worth your hard earn money. I don't know if they will improve in the future but for all the guests that where in that restaurant with me the experience was way too horrible to give this mildly expensive place another chance. I strongly advice to look somewhere else if you want the mountains experience, here you will check out angry and insulted but with a profound love to your house.
