UnBelizeable experiece! I was here for a week and loved every moment of the experience. I booked the solo package and got to enjoy the all inclusive perks and some activities that caught my interest. On my first day, I got the lay of the land and everyone was friendly. The drinks and food choices were absolutely amazing. Day 2: The resort made it possible to visit the Belize Underwater dive shop and learn more about my activity options. Most of my day was chilling at the pool and just taking a break from reality. Day 3 abd 4: Was able to get a ride to the dive shop located down the street and everything was nice and organized. Day 4: Same I have to agree with other reviews -- the staff here goes above and beyond. By our second day, everyone greeted you by name with a smile. Glendie, Sandie and Lorraine, Pablo and Alex at the restaurant -- Charles, Miriam, Carlos and Monica at the bar -- Alton, Bruno and Alden for excursions -- everyone was just great. Activities: I went snorkeling through the resort. We met up at 8:15 AM to get organized and left for the local water dock at 8:30 AM. They provided us with towels, drinks, rental equipment, and everything we needed to know. I was back by 2:30 PM with enough time to grab lunch and resume the lazy experience. I also joined the caving and Zip lining experience which took most of the day. It's a 90 minute drive each way but they made it very enjoyable with trivia, refreshments, and a stop at a souvenier shop. The caving experience wa amazing! We did a total of 6 ziplines during the day. Some piece of advice: Wear cloths you don't mind getting dirty and comfortable shoes. They charge 3.00 for rental hard shoes. The walk to the cave enterance was a bit challenging but worth it. We also were fed amazing local food: spicy chicken, salad, beans/rice,etc. The pineapple suprise is so dangerous and yummy. It's a cored out pineapple filled with fresh chunks, many rums, juice, and a noodle straw with unlimited refills for 12.00 US Dollars. Things I really wish that I knew before traveling: 1. Wifi is going to be a bit spotty so consider that a sign to enjoy the vacation. NOthing you can do about it because many people are using it. I found it easier to use the lobby for a bit and then get off my phone asap. 2. Sunday has a local special of beans/rice, fish or chicken, plantains, and salad. 3. Make arrangements asap to visit Ellas and Driftwood at the front desk before it's closed or you can't go anymore. They book quickly and the front desk can get you on the reservation list fast with enough warning. 4.The fry jacks and banana bread are freshly made each day and should be tried at least once. 5. Lots of amazing breakfast options but pace yourself! 6. Be prepared to put lots of sunscreen and bug spray throughout the day. 7. Tip your staff in american cash if you can before leaving. THey worked super hard to make our experience amazing. 8. You can rent a golf cart for 20.00 up to 24 hours. 9. The are
