Kona Bayview Inn

Sharon and Thomas are great hosts. Their sunset views are gorgeous and the breakfasts they served daily were amazing. two Step is near their place and it is an excellent place for snorkeling….I highly recommend this lovely place for your next vacation on the Big Island.

The hosts went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. Our daily breakfast was delicious and full of variety. We were provided great suggestions of places to visit and interesting historic information about the island. Thomas and Sharon are awesome. They really enjoy being hosts. The view from their property is truly amazing, and relaxing.

This is a lovely place in so many ways. It has one low-slung building with 3 guest rooms and the personal home of our gracious and friendly hosts. Sharon and Thomas prepared a delicious and healthful breakfast each day with an array of local fruits and a different Hawaiian main dish each morning. The bed was good and we ate, read and socialized outside our rooms overlooking the bay.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely B&B overlooking the ocean. The room was large and comfortable with a beautiful lanai facing the sunset view. I can’t say enough about the exceptional breakfasts and the friendly hospitality of our gracious hosts. If you prefer a rural garden setting and don’t mind driving into the hills on winding roads, I highly recommend!!!

Mit unseren beiden erwachsenen Kindern waren wir im August für vier Nächte bei Sharon und Tom zu Gast. Es war phantastisch. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer sehr schönen Aussichtslage, sehr ruhig gelegen bei Captain Cook. Der Flughafen, Kona und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind nicht weit entfernt. Anfangs waren wir wegen der Katzen und dem Hund etwas skeptisch. Die Tiere waren aber überhaupt nicht aufdringlich. Im Gegenteil, unsere Kinder hatten die größte Freude mit ihnen zu spielen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Die Zimmer waren größer als wir es anhand der Fotos erwartet haben und bieten reichlich Platz. Sharon und Tom haben uns viele gute Hinweise gegeben. Ihr Grundstück mit den vielen verschiedenen Bäumen und Pflanzen ist ein Paradies. Für uns war es die beste Unterkunft auf Big Island.

Sharon and Tom sind excellence Gastgeber und sehr zu empfehlen. Niemals aufdringlich, man hat seinen Freiraum und Privatsphäre, aber sie sind immer da, wenn man Fragen hat. Sie haben uns gute Tipps für unsere Ausflüge gegeben. Das Frühstück ist einmalig gut. Jeden Tag etwas anderes; hervorragend wohlschmeckend , frisch und abwechslungsreich. Ein ganz ganz großes Lob!! Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber mit viel Stauraum fürs Gepäck. Der Ausblick morgens und Abends und die zauberhafte Geräuschkulisse machen den Tag perfekt. Dazu die Vielfalt der Pflanzen am Haus und die vielen verschiedenen Vogelarten, die man beobachten kann. Wenn wir können, kommen wir bestimmt wieder!!!
