Fantastic spot for star-gazing or watching the sun set over the Atlantic. Only 4 miles from dog friendly beaches. Great base to explore Clovelly, Port Isaac, Boscastle & Bude. The Folly is a quirky farm cottage with inglenook fireplace and woodburner. Beautiful character features like beams and stained glass windows, but recently redecorated to high standard. Ground Floor Kitchen Well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, induction hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and Tassimo coffee machine. Plenty of pots, pans and cooking utensils. Sabatier knives. Quality glassware, crockery and cutlery. Rechargeable Bluetooth speaker to play your own cooking playlist. We supply cleaning & washing up products and equipment for your stay, including ecover dishwasher tablets, tea towels and hand wash. There is also an iron and ironing board, clothes airer, vacuum cleaner and a clothes line outdoors. Living Room Perfect for cosy evenings in. 2 button-back leather sofas with plenty of cushions. TV with Amazon firestick to stream using our super fast broadband (guest's own streaming account login required). Clearview log burner within an amazing granite inglenook fireplace (unlimited logs, kindling etc provided). Dining room Beautiful light room with solid wood table and chairs. Shower room Power shower, WC and sink. First Floor Main bedroom Solid wood Superking bed with Emma Mattress. Half wardrobe with drawers and dressing table. Decorated to a high standard with artisanal lampshade and pictures. 2nd Bedroom Beautiful King sized bed with Emma Mattress, chest of drawers and wall hooks for clothing. 3rd Bedroom Cheerfully decorated room. Single bed with Emma Mattress and chest of drawers. Family Bathroom Quirky eaves bathroom with WC, sink and bath. Shaving socket and light. Hand soap, toilet roll, Bathsheets and Handtowels provided. The Outside Space is the main event here- 360 degree countryside views, birds of prey spotted regularly, no neighbours, gorgeous sunsets/star gazing- you can even see the sea! There is parking for up to 3 cars within the gated garden- the whole plot is around 1/3 acre with a mix of lawn and mature shrub borders, hot tub with amazing views, firebowl area with seating and a weber bbq. There are several seating areas- a large wooden picnic table and benches, a lovely bistro set (perfect for your morning cuppa and a sofa and chairs on the patio. The location makes this property truly unique and is the perfect place to escape from the rest of the world but with modern amenities such as WiFi and EV charger. Guest access Private 1/3 acre gated garden with parking for 2-3 cars, cottage, hot tub, fire pit. Quit retreat Very clean property with a well equipped kitchen. Made use of hot tub and wood burner. With the property in a quit location we slept really well in very comfortable beds. On arrival we did have an issue with a bedroom heater but and contacted Judith really easily and this was sorted straight away.
