SUMMARY - excellent location, great rooms, great staff, good value compared to Hard Rock. Pool area could be better but still I love this place! Doing another quick review because I see a load of recent bad reviews and honestly it just seems like people have unreasonable expectations and/or don't do any research. So I'll do the BAD first for the hard of thinking. BAD - The Dolce is right behind the MacD so yeah it's not like an "upscale" feel when you get there. The pool area could be better but it's rooftop so it's kind of tough to really put a lot of beds out there etc. It's a Kosher hotel so the Fri-Sat thing means that the bar/restaurant isn't open on a FRI night. And yeah, it has music on the rooftop so it can be noisy! GOOD - the Location is excellent - right across from the Hard Rock, easy 5 minute walking distance or they will bus you over and pick you up anytime! Staff - they are always awesome, never had anything but the nicest and friendly folk. Rooms - clean, modern, and the rooms facing the Guitar - AWESOME! Pool - if you just want to have a quick dip, it's right there on the rooftop. Bar/Restaurant - G7 is actually very nice - good food and nice drinks, On a Saturday (NOT Friday!) it's very cool. IMPROVEMENTS - I like the new free breakfast they are doing. I see people complaining that it's not nice enough but come on - it's meant to be an easy pick you up in the morning, not a gourmet brunch. Oy! G7 - They used to do a boom-boom-boom club type thing around the pool on a Saturday which I was never a fan of, and either because of the hot season or they just gave up, they are doing more of a laid back, restaurant/bar type deal now, which is MUCH better imho - actually kind of cool. SUGGESTIONS - Could management do a deal with the Hard Rock to offer Day Passes to the HR pool? I understand the HR probably has very little incentive to do so, but I would totally be interested. OR the Pool - could that whole area be altered to reduce the pool size and increase the sun lounger area - again would be a big improvement. FINAL THOUGHTS - again I see review after review from people who are complaining about the fact that it's a Kosher hotel? I mean that's who owns the place, and while I do think that's not a great business model and would like to see them make the Kosher part a bit more optional (i.e. open on a Friday night but just allow staff to opt out if they want to observe Shabbat), it is what it is. I for one have stayed at the Hard Rock which is DOUBLE the price of here, and I would (and DO) stay here at the Dolce by preference every time - better rooms, better value, better views!!!

Recently stayed at Dolce Hotel Hollywood Fl. location. Upon arrival, I waited for two people in front of me at check-in desk. The first person was very mad and hollering regarding extra charges on his bill, and the loud music at night until 3am coming from rooftop bar. After he was done, the second person was just as mad. I went outside, so I did not catch what he was mad about. I thought great, what am I in for here. Well, I found out some of the reasons. Yes, the music blared from about 10pm-3am. Sleeping is nearly impossible. They do provide ear plugs on the counter with a sign that reads, "If you do not like street sounds, here are some ear plugs". Never encountered anything like it in my life. Last stay at a Wyndham Hotel for me. In addition, when I booked my room online, I paid a resort fee, which I have seen happen before so no complaints, and it said it provided free breakfast. Later, I went down to find out when breakfast was served. After being told the time, I was told it would be an additional cost of $15 per person. I told her my reservation was to include breakfast. She said it is a mandatory fee charged to everyone.? So, I guess it was my time to ask for the manager and complain. Even after pulling up my reservation, she told me the same thing. I pulled up pictures from the website I booked with and showed her where it said free breakfast included. She went back to her computer and said, oh, you paid through a third-party site, so you're good. (After all that and the breakfast was tiny and terrible) Went to McDonalds across the road. Never again!! IMO this place is poorly run and staffed, and possibly trying to create added charges. It is more of a night club than a hotel. I would recommend some other place to stay.

Terrible Experience at Wyndham Hotel—Avoid at All Costs! My stay at a Wyndham hotel was a nightmare due to poor management, awful customer service, and zero support from corporate. We booked a one-night weekend stay expecting basic amenities like smooth check-in, internet, TV access, and breakfast—but everything went wrong. The hotel had no internet for the entire weekend, delaying our check-in. Despite traveling with my 85-year-old parent who needed timely access to the room for rest, staff refused manual check-in and offered no solutions. We had to leave belongings in the car and shuttle elsewhere to kill time. The front desk didn’t answer calls, and even Wyndham’s corporate team couldn’t reach their own hotel. We wasted more time shuttling back just to get updates. After hours of frustration, we were given a physical key since the internet was still down. There was no TV service for the entire stay.  Cold eggs, broken appliances, an empty coffee pot, dismissive staff, and limited ingredients at the omelet station made breakfast unpleasant. Wet tile floors in hallways and elevators posed slip hazards for elderly guests. Upon checkout, the manager promised a reduced rate due to all these issues but charged us the full amount instead. Calls to resolve the overcharge when it was pendin on my account went unanswered, and corporate customer service dismissed responsibility, claiming franchises operate independently. Wyndham’s lack of accountability and care for guest satisfaction is unacceptable. If you value basic amenities and honesty, avoid Wyndham properties entirely. Save yourself frustration and potential financial loss!

This location knows they have a noise problem. They actually leave two sets of ear plugs in the room for guests to use. The walls seem to have no insulation. You hear everything from the rooftop bar music to people in the hallways. The hotel is very modern and clean and I would have given them a 2 or 3 stars, even with the noise issue, but dropped to one when I received my credit card statement. I was billed for mini bar charges that I didn’t make. When I called to dispute the charge I was told they check the area before guests check in and again when guests check out! I have turned the issue over to my credit card customer care team. Botton line is don’t stay here if you expect to get any sleep or if you don’t want to be billed fraudulent charges!

The room was nice. As expected. The music at rooftop bar, however, was so darn loud past midnight it was unbearable…hotel does provide the squishy earplugs which should tell you they are aware of issue…earplugs don’t work when the jumping/banging goes on…and we were 2 floors below rooftop! I would never recommend this place to anyone…if you want to be close to hard rock, then either stay at hard rock or take uber…
