Very Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended We booked 3 nights for 2 adults and 2 children in Room 103 (Family Pool View). Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, the room had a strong, unpleasant odor and visible mold in the corner. We immediately informed the reception and requested a room change. They told us the hotel was fully booked that night. I asked them to note our request for a room change the following day, as we had an early morning island tour with Hoian Flow. When we returned at 2 PM the next day, we asked again about changing rooms. They said the hotel was fully booked again. While they had cleaned the mold, the smell remained, and my child—who has skin and respiratory sensitivities—was still affected. I then asked to check out early. The staff did not apologize or show any concern. Worse, they only offered a 50% refund for the third night, even though we booked directly through the hotel, not a third party. Overall, the service was poor, the cleanliness unacceptable, and the staff unhelpful. I would rate this hotel 1-2 stars at best. Please avoid staying here, especially if traveling with children or anyone sensitive to mold or odors. Below is a photo of the mold that was quickly wiped away by housekeeping. Updated: After 3 hours of arguing, they agreed to refund 1.5 nights’ stay on July 12. They said the money would be returned to my account by the morning of July 14. As of today, July 16, the refund has still not been fully processed. On July 14, they deleted or hid all customer comments. In the end, they only refunded 50% of the third night. They are blatantly holding on to customers’ money.
