What a great introduction to Vietnam . The hotel is in a great location rooms were clean and the breakfast was fantastic . What made the stay so good was the friendly and helpful manager who pointed us in the right direction for everything we needed . She is a delight , her bubbly nature made us feel very welcome . Thanks Moon .

Wow! Moon was an absolute star and really made our stay at Jan hostel! The bed was so comfy and the room very clean. We were given ear plugs as the hostel is beside a party street that is quite loud at night but honestly we didn’t find it to be a problem! The breakfast is one of the best we’ve had and it really is service with a smile! One thing to note is that the cleaners leave the key in the door on the outside after they have been so I’d recommend not leaving any valuables out in your room - although this again wasn’t a big problem as we found the hostel to be so safe! Thank you so much to Moon and the rest of the staff we really appreciated the lovely hospitality :)

From the moment you enter Jan Hostel you are warmly welcomed and staff are only too happy to help. Rooms are clean, wifi is excellent (I was able to teach online) and the included breakfast was delicious. Centrally located, it was also a quick stroll to everything I needed. Make this a ‘must do’ on your itinerary to Ho Chi Minh 🥰🙏

We loved the location of this property. It was fairly central to the nightlife and a short grab ride away from all the main attractions. Breakfast was included which is helpful and the beds were comfy and we got a free upgrade. Welcome fruit plate was a nice touch also. Rooms are very small and we got an upgrade so l can imagine the "economy room" isn't very comfortable. I think the cleaning lacked attention to detail and the bathrooms were very outdated. Walls were thin and you may be put in a secondary location round the corner from the initial hotel. We didn't get house keeping during our stay.

I had a great time at the homestay. The host was very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and clean. The location was convenient and scenic. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. It was so good that I almost forgot to leave! Besides that, I see that there are many tourists who need to look for a luggage storage service so they can try WhaleLo. While waiting for the plane, my friends and I were able to go out to eat without having to bring anything.

Lee supper friendly and always ready to help. The rooms are nice with a good airco. Neighborhood is loud but inside the hostel its quite and peaceful. Breakfast was verry tasteful and the fruit gave me the boost i needed. I'am verry happy i stayed here and planning to come back! 5/5!

Let’s start with the hosts. Lee and Jan are a wonderful hosts. They made us feel homely. They helped us with tours, etc. we also got to meet one of their lovely children. Hostel rooms are cosy and well laid out. Beds are very good and we all had good sleep every night. Breakfast is healthy and nice. Location of the hostel is good. Easy to get to the market and you can walk to many sights with ease. All in all highly recommended place to stay when you visit Ho Chi Minh.

Jan & Lee, un couple qui se démène pour vous accueillir et vous aider dans vos déplacements dans le sud du Vietnam. Toujours souriants et chaleureux. Les Hôtels proposés par Jan sont agréables et bien situés dans le district 1 ! Le quartier est très animé.
