I enjoyed my stay here. The check in was easy and friendly. The room had everything I needed and was decorated in vintage style. I was there for a class reunion so especially enjoyed the nostalgia. The bed was comfortable and had a cute quilt on top. Everything was clean.

This might have been a great place a decade ago like the pictures show, but in reality it is a dump. Nothing has been maintained, updated, or repaired. I’m sure there are meaning code violations. The 1st room had one outlet behind bed with no cover plate. 2nd room I think had a toilet flapper issue. Scary place. I think place is owned by family from India that knows nothing about hotel management.

Room was dated but nice. Had fridge and microwave and small coffee maker with good coffee. It poured while we were there so it was hard to unload car. The motel was up a few feet from parking lot and steps were in the middle which was inconvenient. They were repairing other set of steps. Manager was nice. Definitely not fancy but quiet and comfortable. Pizza Hut right across the street.

As a female solo traveler, I pulled into their parking lot and immediately thought that this is one of the scariest motels I’ve seen. It was in a questionable neighborhood, had a parking area full of huge potholes, and had access to the rooms only after climbing concrete steps with no other visible access and no handrails. I did not go in but attempted to cancel my reservation from my car via a phone call. The woman who answered the phone was unintelligible. The only words I understood were “call husband” and “later”. I did not stay there and contacted ******* about the scenario the next day. ******* claims the motel insists I honor the reservation. In summary, don’t ever book the Sunflower Motel—a thoroughly unpleasant experience.

This was the nastiest place I've ever stayed at!!!! The headboard of the beds were nailed to boards, I could hardly breathe from the nasty smell, definitely not clean!!! The wash cloths looked like rags I use to clean with ar home. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
