Camping Bon Accueil

Slept well. Ready walking distance of bus stops, pizzeria for lovely food and supermarket up the road. Facilities clean and fresh. Grass had been seeded so was watered regularly at 8am. Parked sideways with no room for chairs outside. Lady at reception needs training on communication skills

This camp site is excellent overall. Lovely grounds, spotlessly clean facilities and a great location within 10 minutes walking distance to the bus stop. We would have happily awarded this campsite a full 5 stars had it not been for the Ōcktoberfest celebrations being held on site in the Cafe and adjacent marque. We have no problem with music and laughter until a reasonable hour but the raucous singing, booming drums and music reverberated across the camp until well after 1 am on both Saturday and Sunday nights! Impossible to sleep through it. Why you would hold this public event in a camping ground that prides itself on a quiet, tranquil setting is beyond us! So if you are thinking of staying here over the weekend of September 27, 28, 29 and don't want your relaxing break ruined by this event then go elsewhere. We certainly will.

Husband booked this site and I saw the 3.5 stars and thought ‘oh no’! How wrong I was ! Location is fab and easy to find. Check in was very easy - the blonde lady on reception was absolutely fine - to the point and matter of fact - but excellent at her job and simply wants people to have a booking and the correct ID (passport of the person who booked the pitch). Pitch was great. Toilet and shower block is all new. Great refuse section. Used washers and driers -4 euros a token from reception - the blonde lady very helpful with advice re the tumble dryer. Little cafe bar on site- delightful. Caught the bus from top of the street into Luxembourg City- it’s about 3 miles away. Buses seem to come very frequently and all buses and trams are free to everyone. Dogs welcome on buses (no muzzle required). Luxembourg a lovely city. At the top of the street also, turn right- lovely bar restaurant that do food and pizzas and pasta - dogs welcome. If you come out of site and turn right- about 2 miles down the road there are about 6 petrol stations - all fuel competitively priced. We could not fault this site at all!

We used this campsite to break up a long drive to Croatia Lovely site with new facilities which were spotless. Lovely park at the back n nice little town with restaurants n bars Would definitely use again as has hard standing and electric . Very tidy site

Location and pitch were fine, but the showers were terrible. A weak stream of cold water. Reception staff offered no help, in fact they blamed other campers for not using the showers correctly. Poor experience.

Op internet gezocht naar camping in de buurt van de stad Luxemburg. Hier uitgekomen. Camping ligt naast ht mooie wandelpark van Hesperange,mooi voor de wandeling na het eten. Camping is schoon en mooie ruime plekken. Toiletruimte is naast receptie en wordt elke dag tussen 11 en 13 uur gesloten voor de schoonmaak, toiletten wel open maar niet douchen of afwassen ed. In de planning geeft dit geen probleem. Gratis bus naar het treinstation stopt aan de overkant, daarvandaan kan je met de gratis tram alle kanten op. Receptie aardig en behulpzaam. Kraan met koud water bij elke stroompaal. Het is ons erg goed bevallen enige kleine minpuntje is dat de wifi beter kan.
