We’ve just spent 8 lovely days at this wonderful small hotel. We stayed in an adults only suite which was beyond amazing. Massive comfortable bed, enormous bathroom with twin sinks a large shower and separate bathtub. The photos on the website cannot do it justice! The whole place is kept spotless, the views are amazing and the level of service are the best we’ve known in Greece. We went for the half board option and the breakfast and dinner were of superb quality. However, the main attribute of Creta Blue are the staff. From Mary, our room cleaner to George the owner everyone is one team working so hard for their guests. Special mentions for Maria and Sofia working tirelessly from before breakfast to after lunch smiling and chatting to guests like old friends. Lavinia, the sommelier whose knowledge of wines was second to none and all the other evening staff in the restaurant (too many names to remember, sorry!) everybody was amazing. Most people we spoke to were returning guests, which speaks volumes. Quite simply the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had. Thank you everyone at Creta Blue

We have just returned from Crete/Creta Blue and our only regret is that we did not book a longer stay. We stayed at one of the suites with a semi-private pool i.e. shared by 4 suites only. Both the pool and the suite were immaculately clean and kept that way all week. We had dinner at the Blue Moon restaurant on a number of occasions and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. Special mention to Lavinia for her hospitality, guidance and help. Breakfast was great, not your typical English fry up but a nice choice including eggs of all varieties and refreshing fruit options with Greek Yoghurt etc. Again a special mention to Lavinia and also Sofia. Koutouloufari is a short walk downhill which has plenty of places to eat and drink and we found the local people to be charming. What seemed a longer walk back to the hotel uphill, but not really a problem as not too steep and only 10 minutes. We had a very relaxing time and will return next year albeit for a bit longer.

I stayed in this hotel when visiting friends in Piskopiano, the little village next door. We had a lovely room with the bed upstairs and located on the hill, with fantastic views to the sea, Chersonissos and surroundings. Also got a nice view on the beautiful pool area. Breakfast was served in this area as well, and cooked on order. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurants of Koutouloufari are pretty close to the hotel, and there is plenty of choice. Have excellent memories at Creta Blue Suites and would highly recommend. Not for people who have problems walking the steep hills though ;-)

Returning for our 3rd visit, as with the majority of visitors all seem to be people who have been before and all enjoy CBS, no need to go over previous reviews which cover the hotel perfectly, will we return not an issue, perfect relaxing holiday spot full of ambience and style,thank you George and the brilliant staff at CBS 👏👏👏👏

The Creta Blue is situated on the Eastern outskirts of Koutouloufari. You can reach it by car or smaller vehicle and of course by walking from the main village. The view it gives over the Cretan Sea is lovely. The swimming pool has an infinity view over olive trees to the bay. Comfortable loungers and seats and pool towels are provided. The restaurant is 5 star rated on Trip Advisor and merits that with good authentic Greek food on offer as well as more familiar fare like steak and pasta. It has a good wine offering as well as cocktails and beer. Excellent cleanliness. Comfortable bed and good, large shower. The greatest praise goes for the helpfulness and sheer warmth and friendliness of the staff. English is spoken well by George, the owner, who sorted our transfer issue so well and kindly. You need to be able to climb the gradient of the mountain the hotel is built on so I would advise anyone with mobility issues to phone the hotel to see which suites may be suitable for them. We would like to return there. We miss the warmth of both the climate and people now we are back in England.

What a relaxing holiday. Yes the accommodation is fabulous and comfortable, yes the view is stunning either mountainous or sea....take your pick; it is the management (George) and the entire team that makes this place special. And I do mean everyone. Housekeeping was top notch. Food rather tasty, which was a delight, nothing too much trouble. Wouldn't normally do half board, but very pleased we did. Every night another delicious meal. The little village in easy walking distance was charming. Never known a place where everyone was sincerely friendly. Most welcoming too. Don't hesitate, book yourself in, you will be made most welcome.

What a Wonderful Hotel. We had a lovely stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful.Lovely room (Although a lot of steps up to our room!) Very clean and had everything we needed. Food amazing, wine superb. Will definitely be back. Thank you George and all your staff for making how stay very enjoyable.

Our 5 time at Creta and it’s better with each visit. Excellent staff and blue moon restaurant is top quality. George and his team cannot do enough for you. Thoroughly recommend this Boutique hotel for relaxing and enjoying the finer things. See you next year is recommendation enough

We stayed for 3 nights in August, when the hotel was full; However, it was so quiet and easy going that it is exceptional; everything from warm welcome, cleanliness of the rooms, room facilities, stunning views and the incredible welcoming and friendly staff were absolutely spot on; if you want party central this is not for you, but if you want a boutique hotel with great food and a fantastic welcome, then do not hesitate;
