Porto Plazza Hotel

Lovely people, clean and George can’t do enough to help, checks in with you every day, staff was very friendly and again happy to help!

I spent two wonderful weeks at Porto Plaza in August. The hotel is beautiful and well-kept, but what truly made my stay special was the staff. A special thanks to Georges for his kindness and outstanding service, he really made me feel at home. Highly recommended!

Hi, so just return from here for a long weekend with my husband. i’ll give pros and cons for here. check in was we were greated by george he was very friendly and helpful. we arrived late on so nothing from all inclusive was available. the hotel is part owed i believe to the bar next door you get 20 percent off your bill when buying from there again staff friendly and welcoming ! room was clean and spacious had a fab bottom floor room on the balcony it had a egg chair a nice bean bag to lay on and a double chair. rooms where cleaned once in our four day stay. pool was quite and spotless didn’t struggle to find a lounger really nice relaxed vibe. i wouldn’t take my kids here as nothing to do in the hotel for them no animation team or evening entertainment. perfect for what we needed though. food and drink this unfortunately this is what lets the place down ! for a few days i made do and ate and drank out a good few times. your choices were beer and wine ozo and brandy fizzy juices water and coffee. i had lunch which had a salad bar and the options for hot food where fish all the bones in them mashed potato pasta with a red sauce. dinner was rice chicken legs some sort of stuffed veg and a salad bar again deserts where okay fresh fruit and soft cakes. after that first day i choose to eat out. dont get me wrong you’ll not go thirsty or hungry but if your expecting amazing don’t go all inclusive it’s cheap enough to eat out around the hotel. i want to take a second to give a massive shout out to the loveliest bar man LUNDY he’s the best always happy friendly and he made our holiday ! so thank you lundy ! so my final thoughts is if you don’t expect much it’s great for a few days chill i wouldn’t come here for a proper full on holiday or bring kids staff are friendly location is fabulous and rooms are clean and big ! all
