Monday 18 July 2022, My husband and I arrived for our four night stay about five in the early evening. Tregaddra Farm Bed and Breakfast is situated on the beautiful Lizard Peninsula. It is a beef and barley farm surrounded by its own land. The Farmhouse is quite and tranquil and was the perfect place to unwind. It even had its own swimming pool and tennis court which guests could use, which was a real bonus. June gave us a big warm welcome. We were then shown to our room ‘Kynance’, which was on the first floor and overlooked the farm buildings at the front of the house. It was a spacious room. It was a beautifully decorated room; it was papered in white, and silver paper with matching grey cushions and window blinds. We had a four poster double bed, which was really comfortable. It had on a grey cotton bed runner with lovely cool cotton sheets and duvet and soft pillows. The furniture was made of white painted wood which complimented the décor of the room. There were table lamps on the bedside cupboards with soft lights which also added to the room’s chic look. Our bathroom was beautiful it complimented the décor of the bed room, it was well appointed and it was done out in white and grey with silver bathroom fittings and was very relaxing to the senses. We had a small en-suite shower, which was a little cramped for us, which had lots of piping hot water. A toilet and sink and lots of lovely soft grey fluffy towels and complementary toiletries. My husband and I unpacked and settled in and then we had a quick wash and brush up and then went out for dinner in Porthleven. After dinner, we then drove back to Tregaddra Farm Bed & Breakfast, where we both went back to our room, where we snuggled up in our double bed like a pair of sleepy kittens and went fast asleep, we both had a good night’s sleep as the bed was so comfortable. Tuesday 19th July 2022, My husband and I awoke to a wonderful thunder and lightning storm, the rain lashed down in torrents and then trickled into light rain which then stopped and we had a hot sunny day. The storm was so inspiring that I wrote a poem called ‘Storm Magic’. Afterwards, I got out of bed and had a nice ‘hot’ shower. We then dressed and went down to breakfast. The last sitting for breakfast was 8.30 am, which was a bit early for us - perhaps 9.00 am would be a thing to look at for the future! My husband had the large full English breakfast, and I had a small one which set us up for the day. My husband and I then decided to go to visit Mullion Cove. Afterwards, we went back to Tregaddra Farm Bed and Breakfast, where we spent the rest of the day in there wonderful swimming pool. My husband and I took photos of us and my husband and me swimming in the pool. My husband did leisurely swimming and then played in the pool like a big kid. I managed to swim 30 lengths and played with my husband in the pool like kids. We then spent some time sitting in loungers by the pool. I was reading the book I had b
