The location is favourable. 4-5 minute walk to Central train/metro station. 2-3 minute walk to Light Rail. Asian restaurants are just right around the corner. Cafe is also near the hotel if you wanna grab a coffee. It would be better for the hotel to provide bottled water and slippers.

My family had a great time at Sydney Central Hotel. The receptionists checked us in early and gave us a late checkout and there was a kid’s corner for my kids to play at. The room was quite retro and cozy, and the beds were very soft and comfortable to sleep in. The TV also had many nice channels that my kids enjoyed watching. Also, the breakfast was delicious and there was a fruit juice machine there. The bathtub was good. Lotion was provided. Corridor has funny smell. The Landry room was very useful. However, the swimming pool was very small. No slippers, no water provided. Toothbrush on request.

Hotel muy antiguo, pero con capacidad para 3 personas. La bañera no está en muy buenas condiciones, no es recomendable para sumergirse en ella. Cerca de la estación central de trenes de Sídney, a 5-6 minutos a pie. También está cerca de la estación de tranvía y el hotel está cerca de Chinatown. No hay problema con la comida. El desayuno del hotel es regular, cuesta 23 dólares australianos por persona.

I love to staying here because of the location, environment, near darling square, paddys market, and kids stay for free. Room Our room has been upgraded to deluxe i think, the bed is queen size, has a bathtub. They offer the cleaning service without any charge. Breakfast Breaksfast are really help when u stay here, because everything is like 17$ above quite expensive. The breakfast consist of scrambled egg, hard boiled egg, any kind of bread, mushroom, sausages, bacon, one asian dish like mie goreng, hashbrown, coffee, tea, milk, yoghurt, fruits, chia pudding, salad, cereals, so complete for simple bfast. The minus only the bed, it is not comfy, maybe they should change the pillow or bed ?

Buena ubicación, a solo 10 minutos a pie se puede llegar a la estación central. Muy fácil ir al aeropuerto. El hotel estaba detrás de una calle concurrida, por lo que no era muy ruidoso. Está cerca de la estación de tren ligero de Chinatown y se puede caminar hasta George Street en 10 minutos. También es fácil ir al ayuntamiento, QVB y la Ópera en tren ligero. Hay muchos restaurantes alrededor del hotel con buena comida. Hay muchas cafeterías. La habitación estaba limpia y ordenada. Aunque solicité un servicio de limpieza limitado, ¡el hotel me dio un servicio de limpieza de 3 días! Está más allá de mis expectativas, buen trabajo.

I usually do not post reviews, but I had to this time to share my experiences. I stayed for a total of 5 nights, Tue and check out on Sunday(7-12 Feb 2023) Plus point -Location is really good , plenty of thai/chinese restaurants and room is huge. -Bed is comfortable, -Yoshie is one that was one more friendly staff that I remembered her name , please give her a raise or wine on me.(she is a Japanese, in case i got her name wrong) Hotel staff, is a on and off experience. The night ones tend to be more ”cold” and the day ones are much better.( again, Yoshie was the ”better” ones, there are more, but I couldnt remember their name) Now on to the exciting part... Tuesday- Checkin day, A smooth day but without hand towels and when I asked for them before leaving the place for a concert. ( they claim they were in laundry or something and I find it hard to believe for a 5 star accommodation) We were without a frying pan as well( they send it up though when i called for it) Wed- Requested for toothbrush/Toiletries and had to request again after waiting for more than an hour, as it was forgotten ,I presumed Thu- Requested to change towel when we went out in morning, nothing was done when we were back in evening. I especially informed the morning reception guys to not forget it, but someone in the middle must have forgotten it. Evening time, The staff upon informing said they will have it there in 10 mins, which they did. By the way, the phone became faulty but I didn't bother to inform as I thought I wont have much trouble with it not in use. I was wrong. Friday- The express cleaning end-up with all the towels taken away and, thats it. We found out when we were back in evening. We were left with no towels and on top of that the phone was not working so I had to go downstairs to inform the reception/staff , on night shift i suppose. Again they said would be there in 10 mins, which more or less they did. Saturday- There was a huge cockroach and I had to kill it myself, informed the staff downstairs but honestly I dont expect change of room or anything, just to feedback. From the above, you can see there were full of dramas and I think these are basic expectations.(especially the towel part) Would I be back there if I ever go Sydney again? Unlikely.

El Hotel Central Mandela está en el centro de la ciudad, ¡La ubicación es muy conveniente! ¡No hay menos de diez minutos de la estación de tren, el tren interurbano está en línea L8 desde el aeropuerto hasta la estación de tren central de la estación de tren y luego camina al hotel. La colección de viajes de un día también está en esta estación de tren. Hay una línea ligera en la puerta del hotel 1/2/3, puede ir a Darling Harbour.2.75 Ticket a 5 minutos. Hay una pequeña plataforma en la habitación que puede ventilar y la habitación es amplia y brillante. Al llegar, por favor, el taxi que necesita la recepción va al aeropuerto de 46 dólares, el servicio es muy bueno. Has stayed a few times here, always preferred to stay here because of the access to a kitchen and laundry. However, this experience is the worst I had. Was sick during one of the days (had diahorrea and fever) and one of the days there, the water was out, couldn't flush the toilet. Called reception but couldn't get to them so waited from early to late morning to get the plumbing fixed. Next, the light dropped and water started seeping out when I on the aircon. Had just walked passed the cooridor so fortunately missed it if not the light would have hitted my head.

Muy, muy satisfecho. La ubicación es excelente. La estación de tren ligero, la estación de tren y la estación de autobuses están a 100 metros. Aunque está en el centro de la ciudad, sigue siendo muy tranquilo. Me quedé ocho días seguidos y el hotel me ascendió a una suite en el antiguo edificio frente a mí de forma gratuita, y no me dieron ningún dinero extra cuando extendí mi estadía a la misma habitación, a pesar de que El precio de la vivienda aumentó considerablemente durante la temporada escolar. La suite mejorada tiene un área útil de 40 metros cuadrados. Me impresionó mucho. El personal fue muy amable. La señora de la limpieza fue muy atenta y muy comunicativa. Recibí 100 me gusta y ya la recomendé a varios amigos. !
