We stayed at The Three Hatyai for a family trip, booking two rooms for two nights. On the first night, one of the rooms had no electricity. The security guard tried to help but couldn’t fix it, and the technician couldn’t be reached. After 12am, there were no staff at the counter, so we had no choice but to squeeze into one room, with some of us sleeping on the floor.
In The next day, we went to the counter to request a refund for the room with no electricity. At first, the hotel refused, saying we could still sleep in the room even without electricity. After we insisted and raised our voices, and went to the counter 2–3 times, they finally agreed to refund only 1000 baht (even though the room cost around 1500 baht).
The main issue is not the money, but the irresponsible attitude and poor management. No proper night support, no empathy, and no professionalism. Very disappointing for a family trip.
