It was ok for one night as I just used it to put my head down for the night and it was great for that as I wasn’t expecting much for a £40 room but would not stay there for a week

The worst hotel ever!!!!!

Booked via a booking app When we arrived we had to park down a residential street and walk to the “ hotel “ . Once there , I called the number on the door to be let in - I called four times in 30 minutes and no one answered . Eventually , another guest was leaving and so we managed to get in and out of the rain . Once inside, I kept calling the number and then finally a man answered the phone and just kept shouting at me that he would text me the code to get into the hotel . After I had finally got him to understand that we were already in the hotel , he told me to go to room 14 . I asked where the key was , and he said “ the room is unlocked “. I questioned him and he tutted and said that he’d get “ one of the girls to come down “. After some time , a woman came downstairs and took us to room 14 . As she was walking away - I asked her where the key was , and she said that it was lost. The room ( and the hotel itself ) was dirty . The toilet was broken and was flushing continuously , there were no facilités for making a drink , the curtain pole was hanging off the wall ( ground floor facing the street ) and I dont even want to describe the stain in the bed ! I didn’t feel safe or comfortable , and I said that I didn’t want to stay there . The woman said that she didn’t work there and that she was a guest too (so much for being one of “ his girls “) She said that she would phone the owner but that he was going away and wasn’t answering his phone . To be frank , the whole building was dirty , unsafe and ( judging by the “ guests “ that we had seen - all blackened teeth and rattling ) I got the impression that this hotel is not family orientated ! I left the hotel and booked a room at another one nearby ( The Grand ) which was an altogether different and better experience and still reasonably ( budget) priced . I really do think that everyone should be warned not to stay in this hostel ( it doesn’t deserve to be called a hotel ) . I booked it via a booking service called OYO . I have got my money back but there is no option to leave a review so the misleading pictures and description are still on the app for all to see !

Poor hotel. Unclean with poor facilities and arrogant owners who won't listen to advice. Will never go back They need to get the hoover and duster out themselves or pay for peoples prescriptions. Breakfast was undercooked and near raw at times. Facilities is a word that they don't understand. They give hotels a bad name

I couldn’t stay here, I had to leave and find another hotel, the room wasn’t very clean, dust on skirting boards and headboard, blind had no cord and was very stained, no cups for tea and coffee and no one around for me to ask. I didn’t feel safe there. Apart from a lovely chap called Stan who was there when I arrived there were no other staff around at all. I wasn’t expecting much for what I paid but I was expecting somewhere that was a cleaner than I got. Very tired looking which I don’t mind but with all the other bits it didn’t help.

*AVOUD* Photos shown online are very old. Asked to pay cash on arrival. Taken to our room, it was dirty and they had no key. Bathroom was unclean, room needed a hood clean, bedding looked stained and bed unkempt. Dirty clothes and towels in the wardrobe. Said we weren't staying, had been there less than 5 minutes. Money was no longer there, it had been handed off to the owner. Contacted owner who said he didn't think he could refund as we paid cash, as he'd requested. Gave him the opportunity and information to refund, had zero contact and now he seems to have blocked us. Given the fact the staff showed no surprise and didn't even attempt to apologise or make the situation right, it seems this is a well used scam. From what I saw while there, and chatted with someone staying there while wiring to be let I'm, I would say this is not really a hotel, more a shared living place.

***DO NOT BOOK HERE*** Booked last minute when our daughter was admitted to hospital at university. Upon arrival it was obvious that all photos are old. We were taken up to a room, it was again nothing like the photographs online. We had paid in cash as requested, the room was dirty the bed looked unclean and barely made, bathroom dirty and upon opening the wardrobe we saw someone’s dirty towels and clothes inside. It was evident that someone had been in there recently and it not been cleaned after. Less than five minutes after arriving, they still hadn’t even given us a room key as they couldn’t find it which in itself is a red flag, the money was gone and we needed to speak to the boss to get it back. Contacted the boss, and despite given him ample time to return the money, he has not and has since blocked our number. This is clearly a well used scam given the experiences of others leaving reviews. Don’t book here. It clearly needs reviewing by the sites promoting it.

I watch this hotel on four in the bed and have read the reviews of people who have stayed the woman said it wasn’t manned at night and true to her word on complaints ring for assistance he lied that he went out for half an hour so where was his partner in crime to me he’s very arrogant self centred young man hope the place get shut down at least the owner of the Blackpool hotel didn’t show anything false but have been making improvements unlike there hotel

Absolute dump stayed here last nite, first room I was in walls dirty carpets black, bathroom window broken, so I was freezing radiator not working, paid the owner the money, absolute con man be aware, didn’t give me my money back, I got moved rooms, that was worse no shower working no toilet roll blinds all stained carpets dirty again black marks to battery’s in the tv remote no milk tea and dirty cups the list is endless should be closed down left a nite early and now it’s spoiled my plans to stay an extra a nite and out of pocket now to book somewere else thanks mate
