The onsite facilities were closed. Reported to us as due to staff shortages / redundancies. Told a matter to take up with Premier Inn main office. Breakfast service intermittent. Staff seemingly uninterested in the condition of the hotel. Reception largely unstaffed.

Filthy. Whilst the main part of the room had been cleaned, the beds were surrounded by a thick layer of dust and there was mould on the walls. This room hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time, perhaps years. We just moved the bed over a little to prevent the little one from falling off and were surprised by what you see in the photo. After checking in, reception staff were almost missing, No chance to bring it up because they just weren't there. Avoid if you care about your health.

I arrived at this hotel 23 minutes before check in time after travelling over 200 miles. In arduous weather conditions. I was needing a pee. Was told both pub and restaurant were closed due to staff shortages. Could not access room unless paid £10. Receptionist then said she did not know what I expected “Did I expect her to build a public toilet?” Very disappointed in premier inn.

Premier Inn does exactly what it says on the tin. Good value, clean rooms, decent facilities, nice breakfast for a reasonable price, location was good just south of the city centre, would definitely stay here again. Only issue was the restaurant was closed on an evening although the bar is in operation

Average. Mediocre breakfast, again stating all u can eat, but when wanted a 2nd order was refused ,and poor sleep due to noise of people coming in from being out drinking and or partying. Very close to train station. The only real positive point.

Doesn't have the advertised services as the restaurant appears to have been closed down in spite of still being advertised. Whether or not there is a breakfast depends solely on whether the staff turn up to do one! Staff told us it seldom happens so we referred them to their hotel's reviews. Head office uninterested.

Lovely room with windows that open for ventilation and fresh air. More Premier Inns should offer this basic amenity. We enjoyed a cool and relaxing night's sleep as a result. Additionally, friendly staff and smooth check-in. Would definitely return.

the bathroom was filthy it obvisiouly hadnt been cleaned in a long time, the carpet was badly stained and the heating didnt work considering it was at zero degress outside, there is an oil plug in heather available bit its not sufficent enough to heat the room, there was no food available in the restaurant, and breakfast was hit and miss depending on weather staff bothered to turn up, In reception we were met with the two most ill manared receptionest i ever had the misfortune to meet, over all i wouldnt stay in this hotel or would i ever recommend it to anyone,

After reading the previous reviews i was slightly dubious about our stay, but in reality it was faultless, our room was very clean, well stocked, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was served freshly cooked and it was delicious not to mention unlimited. All staff memebers we came upon we're polite and friendly particularly the breakfast staff and reception ( i didn't manage to get their names but we stayed 17/01/25 - 18/01/25) It definatley appears they got it together.
