El hotel es realmente grande - demasiado grande. Las habitaciones están bien. Nada especial. Dos grandes problemas. 1.
Hotel Indigo Harrisburg – Hershey

Sleek, stylish, and contemporary. Situated on a hilltop overlooking the highways and shopping centers, Hotel Indigo outshines the nearby competition - particularly at night when gold accents highlight the building. It was by chance that we were relocated to this hotel after another IHG hotel (Candlewood Suites Harrisburg-Hershey) extended the stay of another group of guests and indicated that we could cancel or move to another property. The hotel is striking from the start. Gold accents on the exterior immediately set the tone for an elevated experience. The lobby and dining areas are large and comfortable, with an outdoor pool and bar area complementing the first floor. The elevators are also striking in their finish and decor - the ride is the same, but these elevators really are impressive in their styling. Our room was reasonably large with ample space for a king size bed, sitting chair, desk chair, and table top desk area that ran the length of the room across the window. The decor was simple yet stylish and (as with every IHG property that we have enjoyed) featured amazing pillows and bed linens. The usual amenities are present (hair dryer, ironing board, luggage valet) and overall it was a very nice stay. Although breakfast is not included with the stay, the onsite restaurant offered a very nice menu. Our Commonwealth platter featured freshly prepared eggs, pancakes, hash brown patties, and the best bacon I have ever eaten. The restaurant staff went out of their way to ensure that every request was met and that everything was to our satisfaction. They are a credit to this location and I would encourage guests to pay the little bit extra and start their day here. Michelle (at the front desk in the morning) also went out of her way to make sure that our stay was satisfactory - thank you. In the end, we are happy that Candlewood management and IHG Guest Relations worked to ensure that we had a room during this very busy September week. Moreover, we are thrilled to have experienced what another brand in the IHG family has to offer. Hotel Indigo won't work for all of our travel plans, but it is great to have another option with IHG - especially one that offers a step up in luxury and stylishness.

Valet service is atrocious. Check on your vehicle, it might go missing and Crown will not care. Attended a conference and stayed there. Had paid valet parking. Valet on duty was rude from the beginning. I was given a ticket told to leave my keys on the dashboard and it will be taken into the lot. Came down to the lobby five hours later. Only to find my car still sitting at the front lobby, right next to the road, unlocked with the keys still on the dash. Making, it that anyone could have taken it. Upon inquiring about why this happened. I was appalled to find my vehicle was never checked into Crown system and got a significant amount of excuses, but not a valid reason for the kind of error made. Anyone could have made claim to my car or simply just got into it and drove off because the key was very visible if you came close enough to it. Asked about the process of making a formal complaint based on the severity of the issue. Was given the run around throughout the rest of the stay by the the manager on duty, the valet manager and both the general and assistant general manager. Everytime I contacted them, I was treated with disdain. My two days there was very stressful because I was worried about the safety of vehicle. I would never recommend staying there if you want peace of mind and relaxation.

This was the first time we have been to a Stay Bridge Hotel. This review is for our trip from 8/27/2024 to 8/30/2024, which is right before Labor Day weekend. The location felt safe and was right beside the Farm Expo and is only a short drive to many restaurants. The main things we look for in a hotel is that it is CLEAN and SAFE, which this hotel met those criteria. This hotel was close to the PA State Capital Building and also close enough to Hershey Park at a lower cost than a hotel closer to the park, which helped us decide to stay here. My wife is allergic to animals so we were very hesitant to book a ”pet friendly” hotel as our experience at other hotels that allow animals was not good, but this hotel assured us the rooms were deep cleaned after any pet stayed in a room. We were also advised most pets tended to be on first floor. We didn't see many pets during our stay, but ran into three; two were noticed on the first floor and one on the fourth floor. The pets did NOT bother my wife and the room was ”exceptionally clean” according to my wife. My wife is sometimes a tough critic of cleanliness but she really enjoyed her stay at this hotel and that says something. Problems/Negatives: -The only problem we experienced was the bathroom sink. The sink in our room (#413) would get extremely hot or cold and we could not control it so we used the kitchen sink instead. This was a little inconvenient but we didn't report the issue until we checked out so hopefully, they will have it fixed for the next occupant. Neutrals: -Before the trip, I could not get a reply from the hotel from my standard email so I used a different one, but the hotel didn't answer my entire question so I ended up calling, but I got an immediate answer with that method. -It could have just been me, but the thermostat seemed off. To change the temperature, you had to hold the button down until it blinked then set to the desired temperature. The room got very cold very quickly or very warm at only a degree or two different. Again, this could have just been me. Positives: -The experience was OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE though and the staff was nice, always available, helpful when needed, courteous in passing, and was able to accommodate an extra night without any trouble. -This was the first hotel we booked that had a kitchen and it really sold us. The kitchen had a bar area with stools to sit and eat, was stocked with cups, large fridge with freezer (not a mini one), a large sink (which was super helpful for us), plates, dish clothes, pots and pans, a dish washer, stove top, microwave, toaster (no oven though), etc. There were also paper towels included, but they were low quality ones. -There were ”cute” little touches on the toilet paper and towels by housekeeping that put a smile on my wife's face. -Dove soap a plus! There was no travel size toiletries necessary. -The indoor pool was nice and clean with towels. A bit on the smaller size and no hot tub, but met
