Clouds Holiday Bungalow, Haputale

Beautiful getaway, lovely garden clean and tasteful rooms. Enjoyed the food. Karu, Raja and the crew are very friendly and obliging. I highly recommend this gem of a place for a complete relaxation. The bright sunny morning and misty evenings are heavenly!

It is just over a week since my wife and I with 5 friends were privileged to spend an idyllic 3 days and 3 nights in the cool,misty climes of Haputale,literally in the Clouds. Clouds is a comfortable holiday bungalow in a beautiful garden located at the top of a hill.It is surrounded by a tea estate and a vegetable garden,the produce of which is utilized to prepare the sumptuous and nutritious meals by the in-house chef.My wife,was particularly happy that the foods were devoid of all artificial additives,being sourced from the adjoining garden. Both in the morning and in the evening,one can be surrounded,gaze down on and be enveloped in the clouds.Though our time was limited,of the numerous attractions nearby,we were able to visit the world famous 9 Arches Bridge in Ella,the historic monastery at Adisham (famous for its jams and cordials) and the renowned 98 Acres with a background of mini-Adams Peak,all of which are within a half hours drive. Customer service was excellent.The on-site manager Mr.Karunaratne,along with the staff went the extra mile to ensure our comfort. It is advisable to take warm clothing and comfortable sturdy footwear to enjoy traipsing through the surroundings.The seats carved in rock,the verdant greenery,fauna and flora,the peace and tranquility make this resort idyllic for rest and relaxation. The cleanliness was impeccable.The meals were tasty and nutritious. 'Clouds' is truly a little piece of heaven.

The best environment to be free. A very beautiful place including a small tea garden, a beautiful garden where children can play. "Ira Sewaya" (ඉර සේවය) is a very beautiful looking place. The night we were in was a strange environment where the fog hit the body with the wind. Very fun. And a very relaxing place. The bungalow is very clean inside and outside and the garden around it. Daily, the cleaner does his job well. Their hospitality is very good, very clean. There is nothing wrong to say. We are a group of twelve in all. Two to cook and one to Supervise. The support and care given to us by all three was excellent. And very high. We first submitted the recipe we wanted to them a month ago. Then they presented us all the necessary things in a report. Then on our first day all those things were handed over to them. Our food was served to us in a very tasty, clean and generous manner. Finally, all the remaining things were returned to us. But in the end, as an appreciation for the care they gave us, we humanely returned all those goods to them for their personal use. A perfect place for a family trip or a group. As someone who has thoroughly experienced the environment and the place, I have to say that all those who visit the place should enjoy themselves to the fullest without destroying the things there. Because they are working hard to keep the bungalow clean and safe.

Fantastic calming location to stay, brilliant food. Well maintained property with clean and comfortable rooms and amazed by the quality service and hospitality offered by the staff. This bungalow is a perfect place for a family and just 5 minutes away from the Haputale Town.

“We were destined to clouds but we were end up in heaven” that summarizes our trip to the Clouds Holiday Bangllow. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly as well. Also the scenery is mesmerizing.. At last I should say something about the food as well it was amazing actually 😀

Our stay at clouds was very nice. Staff was friendly and the bungalow was clean and serine. they prepared very tasty food for us. Overall it was a nice and relaxing stay. The view from the hotel was heavenly.
