Amber Youth Art Hotel (West Lake Scenic Area)

If all hostels in China were like this one, I’d be more than satisfied! The location is very convenient, the staff wants to help, the common room is big and very nice; there’s a balcony; there’s a room only for toilets and another one only for showers (women and men separated, so four in total), so I didn’t have to wait to pee or to take my shower; and soap and shampoo are given. (But bring your flip flops!) And the room! I was with three other people but it didn’t feel crowded, there’s more than enough space to put the luggage (and it’s easily accessible), to access the upper berth we use stairs instead of a ladder (which is safer and more convenient), the bed wasn’t hard, the curtains effectively block any light, etc. Needless to say that I had a great sleep! Negative points: hard to find the hostel (so maybe don’t arrive too late because you won’t be able to ask people for directions), no fridge and no umbrellas. The most negative point in my opinion is the lack of ventilation in the showers, it felt like the Amazonian jungle each time I entered the room. But the positive points definitely outweigh the negative ones. I definitely recommend this hostel!

Neat hostel, clean and well equipped. I had difficulties finding the place as there isn't any english signs in the huge building and there's many floors and many hotels in the same building. Reception is on 5th floor and at least some rooms are on 6th. But overall nice and the reception helped me and booked a train on the official chinese website I have no chance on navigating by myself.

總體不錯，專業的青旅。離西湖和杭州火車站很近，樓下有麥當勞和海底撈。是比較成熟的青旅，管理得很好，性價比高，可以月租，杭州有很多分店，下次來杭州還會選擇。 但是有幾個小建議：1.六樓住宿的便利性沒有五樓高，五樓的公用區是離店後才知道可以使用，並且六樓沒有洗衣和曬衣的地方。2.工作人員不夠專業，入住時給的物品缺少，不知道洗手間的紙是酒店方需要提供等。

離西湖較近，可步行到達。離定安路地鐵站，步行需要十分鐘，有行李要下無電梯的地下通道。 有五樓和六樓，六樓洗衣房小，衞生間味道比較大，公共區域還算不錯。

除了顛覆想象的棒，還是很棒，有一種自己是土鼈感覺 位置超方便，地鐵站步行5分鐘就到， 周邊美食便利店齊全。一進門就被乾淨程度驚艷到，公共區域一塵不染，房間床鋪整潔無異味，連衞生間都亮堂堂的。 老闆和店員特別熱情，不僅耐心推薦遊玩路線，還幫忙寄存行李、借充電器，細節服務超貼心。晚上在露台和來自各地的朋友聊天看星星，氛圍絕了！無論是獨自旅行還是結伴出遊，這裏都像家一樣温暖舒適，下次來還住這兒！

從大堂到客房都裝修有格調，鋼琴和綠植增添文藝氣息。多人間床單柔軟舒適，獨立衞浴細節到位。唯一小遺憾是早餐種類太少，建議大家提前規劃 就是床墊有點硬 枕頭有點塌
