The Miner is beautifully remodeled, and centrally located in historic Hancock MI. The the famed Jack Stevens snowmobile trail #17 is located directly across the street, offering easy access to hundreds of miles of groomed trails taking you across Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We provide easy access to Houghton (1.6 miles), Michigan Tech (2.3 miles), Finlandia University (.3 miles), and historic Calumet is only 13.8 miles away. Please note that we are located along Lincoln St (US41) and the snowmobile trail. I would hate to lose your business because of it, but I would rather make sure you are happy with your stay. If you are a very light sleeper, other accommodations might be better suited for your needs. If want to be in the middle of everything, I have no doubt that you will love it!
