Thirsk

Room cosy and comfy very nice lot of lights to read by large wet room very good but the food was disappointing breakfast over priced all cooked food was cold no porridge and only fried and scrambled eggs the toaster not working very poor for £10.99 will stay again but not have meal deal would go into Thirsk and have a evening meal and stop at a service station for a hot cooked breakfast that's cooked whilst you wait

This hotel was reasonably priced, yet still had lovely amenities. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. I was pleased that the room had both a tub and a shower. We enjoyed being able to soak in a tub after a long day. The hot breakfast had good variety and was enjoyable. I will plan to stay at Premier Inns in the future when I travel. I felt welcome and at home there.

Used it as a base for 2 nights whilst visiting various places in the Thirsk area, nice and clean, always surprised why the Breakfast is not included the in the place as with say Holiday Inn. But good value especially if purchased in advance, plenty of choice. Room clean and comfortable, staff friendly, not that far out of town centre, easy to find.

Let me start by saying the staff and food (breakfasts & Dinners), were excellent, so why the 1 star review? We were in room 001 in the ground flor, and everything was as expected until it came to time for bed. the side of the mattress nearest the window, had a vey bad dip (when any weight was on it), which made sleep very uncomfortable, I don't normally have trouble sleeping. I told the manger the next day and she said they would look but couldn't do anything other than turn the mattress which would have affected my wife's side. After another 2nd bad night, as we checked out, the manger gave me the number to call regarding the good night sleep guarantee. I called the number the next day and the agent told me, because they are silentnight mattress', i wasn't covered, even if the mattress was damaged!

This Premier Inn, is I would say, one of the better ones, you couldn’t wish for friendlier more helpful staff, especially, Megan, Ivannq, Jay and Kobey, we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a welcoming stay. See you all soon. 😊😊😊

Thirsk PI is in a good, quiet location, with friendly, helpful, and kind staff. I’d particularly like to mention and praise Megan. My friends and I were checked in with a warm welcome, a friendly smile, and a can do attitude. She went to great lengths to make sure we were looked after, and had everything we needed. Three members of staff were off due to illness which put a lot of pressure on Megan, but you’d never know it. She booked us in for an evening meal, and went on to serve it to us herself due to the staff shortages. After a long and tiring journey, being met by her was a delight. Thank you Megan. Well done!
