Premier Inn Halifax South Hotel

Very unique hotel as they have rooms on the ground floor that has their own car park. We really liked staying in Room 16, right next to the canal. They also have a very friendly and helpful staff, we got checked in by a lass with purple hair and the next day we got greeted by a lovely Lithuanian lady who seemed to be the manager. All in all, will come back here

Stayed here after a concert at Halifax, I came in early 11am and wanted an early check in. We’ve been told this is subject to availability but they had some clean rooms so we paid £10 for early check in which we don’t mind. The receptionist Lorraine was fantastic, great service and we had a laugh with her. A credit to your company I must say! The room itself was incredible, spotless and clean can’t complain much. We really like the outdoor ground floor room where you can park your cars outside your room, it was like a motel in America.

Was visiting Halifax for business and was very impressed being on my own as all the staff was very helpful and welcoming which is very good when you are on your own loved the setting near the water was very quiet as well had a McDonalds which is close by also had breakfast following morning no complaints from me would recommend

We had a family room and stayed for 2 nights as we had a wedding in the area. The staff were super friendly and welcoming which is always nice. The room was huge. Totally spotless. The bed was the comfiest hotel bed I have EVER slept on... wonderful sleep!

Good location, not too far from the town centre but just quiet enough to be secluded. Staff we had in the reception is Lorraine and she was kind and efficient, helped my elderly mother get a downstairs room and helped with bags. No complaints here. will come back soon 👍🏼

Felt like an American Hotel as the doors were outside. Quite small but functional and clean. Staff very nice but couldn't sort our lack of WiFi issue. Given a password but wasn't given domain and didn't go back to ask again as was in my pjs. If the WiFi is patchy then tell people. We couldn't get past it even with Mobile Data. I guess we've come to rely on it and if it's advertised we expect to be able to access it. The breakfasts are poor value for me as am Coeliac. People get an awful lot for £10.99. But for £8.99 my porridge was gloopy and my gf toast was done on a grill but burnt, served it to me anyway. I had to wait a while as expected so it was a big old disappointment as only had fruit to keep me going. You need to step this up as you take my £8.99 but I don't get anywhere near the choice nor volume of non gf people. I eat less than kids who eat for free.!!

The friendliest and most welcoming you g man on reception, Joseph was outstanding. Room was perfect for our needs. Comfy bed, warm, power shower that was a joy to use. Owls on the night and breakfast overlooking the canal completed a very lovely one night stay. The guy on for breakfast also worked hard to find us a table where we could sit with our friends, despite a couple of large groups in the place. Super staff and top marks to Joseph. We’d stay again and recommend to others.

Stayed here few times and always an absolute pleasure. Staff are very friendly, rooms are clean and free parking.

Staff really helpful and friendly. Room lovely, spacious and clean. Good location for going to Piece Hall
