Saurabh is perhaps the largest hotel in haldwani. It was born 30 years ago in style. Much of that style remains. I stayed for a night and enjoyed the place. Especially the beautiful landscaping on the second floor. We booked through make my trip with a dinner and breakfast included. We were told that there is no buffet or thali system. One can order a-la-carte. When i ordered mutton biryani at the restaurant, the server said he can serve only chicken biryani in this package. When i asked whether it was possible to pay the difference of price between mutton biryani and chicken biryani, the server said if mutton biryani is ordered, full payment will be charged for this dish. Writing this to let the management know. Whether the management make this adjustment, may be helpful for other guests too. Overall i liked the place. They are required to do better supervision in housekeeping
