«Es una habitación que hace que los niños se alegran! Cuando entré en el salón, hay unas decoraciones modernas adorables y la seguridad a media noche parecía ser fuerte. No fuimos, pero parece que hay lugares ocultos y instalaciones de barbacoa en el techo! ¿La salón se ha actualizado? ¿Como el viejo como el nuevo? Creo que la limpieza es muy limpia, pero no puedo caer porque siento que el olor de la boca es como una ceniza (^^;; para adultos cansados de visitar en el restaurante de la boca, volver al hotel es un lugar interesante. Sí! Puedes vivir con muchas personas, Así que creo que viajar con la abuela de la abuela es una buena idea! Pero ¡no hay calor aquí!»

Las instalaciones de baño son antiguas, el ángulo de la fibra no puede ser ajustado, el flujo de agua no puede ser controlado, y cada vez que se interrumpe el tornillo de agua debe calentar, el agua caliente se ajusta a la temperatura adecuada, es muy incómodo.
La habitación es amplia, la cama es suave y dura. La ventana no brilla, se despertó temprano.

«お値段なりかもしれませんが、1人旅、ビジネスでお手頃に泊まる分には宜しいかと思います。
気になる点は、もう少し明るい照明であればなと思うところと、部屋のシャワーの温度調節は注意書きがある通り微調整は必要ではありますね。
良い点では、従業員の皆さんは感じが良い印象でした。
１階に温泉もあり入りましたが、温度も丁度良く疲れも取れました。
また、🚗で行きましたが1泊100円と格安でしたので有難い！助かりました。
また機会があれば利用させて頂きたく思います。»

«家族3名と大型犬で今回2度目の利用をさせて頂きました。
前回もそうでしたが、建物自体は藏を利用されており、
暖房が無い2階はちょっと寒かったです。
内装は物凄くキレイに清掃されており気持ち良く利用させて頂きました。
歩いて直ぐの処に函館公園があり散歩も出来ますし、
ユニットシャワーがありましたが、
車で5分程の谷地頭温泉(6:00~21:00受付終了)を朝晩とお世話になりました。
駐車場が5分程の離れた所にありましたが、
気になる程の事ではありませんでした。
管理者様ともメールでやり取り出来ますので
安心して利用出来ました。また利用させて頂きます。»

«The hotel is an hour away from Hakodate station. It is an old styled hotel but well kept. Their bath is superb and we enjoyed using it. The receptionists didn’t speak English and they had instructions in English instead.
They don’t provide any water. You need to purchase them for 100yen each. I asked for Japanese room but they gave me beds instead.
I had pleasant stay and would consider visiting again»

YYolkieJR Inn Hakodate is particularly outstanding in several aspects: great location which is directly connected to JR Hakodate station so people would not get wet even it’s raining, special offer on extra pillows with different material, relaxing open area which allows people to rest after bathing (please see photos attached), amenities such as washing machine and microwave etc, the unique view of JR railway in room. Just one thing: The space in my room became very limited after I opened my 26’ luggage on the floor. Overall the hotel is perfect!

UUsuario invitadoAl registrarme en la recepción del hotel, conocí a un chico que hablaba chino, lo que hizo que la comunicación fuera más fluida. Sacó el folleto del hotel y el autobús turístico gratuito del hotel y, con paciencia y detalle, presentó las distintas instalaciones del hotel, los lugares de interés y las rutas y métodos de viaje del autobús turístico gratuito. El hotel es muy nuevo. Cerca del vestíbulo hay consigna de equipaje de autoservicio. La habitación está muy limpia (tenga cuidado de cambiarse los zapatos en la entrada antes de pisar la alfombra del interior). La pared de la base del segundo piso está pintada de forma bonita y presenta comidas y atracciones cercanas. El jabón de manos de la habitación huele un poco a ciprés de LELABO, y las manos huelen bien después de lavarlas.
Servicio: Vale la pena mencionar que la recepción del hotel ayudó a llamar y hacer reservas en restaurantes, ¡lo cual fue realmente genial!

JJesscacaAbout 10-15mins driving distance from the city center. Parking is located next to it (around 2mins walking distance) where u have to walk through an alley to hotel main door. Perhaps they can install a street light in the alley way or a back door near to parking lots coz it is quite dark and scary to walk alone.
Breakfast is lack of variety but acceptable.
Other than these, overall is satisfied.

Pphua.scI personally feel this hotel is a good starting point especially if you love exploring by walking.
From Hakodate Train Station, it is about a 5-10 min walk. Along the way, you'll find a number of food options (kaizen-don selection) at Hakodate Asaichi that is best for breakfast/lunch and also Lucky Pierrot (local restaurant burger chain with wide selection) across the street. There is also a Lawson's convenience store nearby.
The hotel is within walking distance (＜5 min) from the Morning Market (where you can get all the preserved seafood for souvenirs) and also the must-try Uni Marumaki's (price range Y3500 and up for the recommended items). Further up, after about 20 minutes walking, is the Red Brick Warehouses (Lots of souvenir shopping and some of the more-branded food to try between meals - cakes, ice cream etc). The Hakodate Seafood Market is also around this area where fresh sashimi is available. I was surprised to find similarly priced oysters (Y900 for 2) here that's of better quality than at the Morning Market.
I've concentrated so far on the plentiful food options nearby because the breakfast buffet had very, very limited options and limited seating (see last photo). The main option I could recall was a selection of onigiri with different flavours, some western-type food, and bread. I think it's fine because Hakodate is really a foodie's place so you should try eating outside the hotel (especially sashimi and kaizendon).
The hotel itself is very clean and has all basic amenities that serve it's purpose.

UUsuario invitadoI recently stayed at a hotel that exceeded my expectations. The facilities were impeccably clean, making the stay very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and of high quality, offering a great start to each day. I also enjoyed the on-site hot springs, which were incredibly relaxing. Additionally, the room had a beautiful view, enhancing the overall experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a delightful stay.

OO.K. MACNot sure whether it’s during long holidays, or it’s normal. But I expected much better service for this type of hotel. So I was so disappointed when I didn’t feel like it.
First, I carried a lot of stuffs. I asked for concierge, yes there was a luggage cart, but I need to carry all by myself up to my room, using a small and old with impaired wheels cart.
Second, full of tourists. Onsen was so full too. So I need to hurry took a bath, a few minute in the onsen, then go back to my room. Not relax at all.
Third, such a long queue breakfast. There were 2 types of breakfast for us to choose. Never seen like this before, but we need to get a queue, for 30-60 minutes waiting. If I knew that there was a queue for hotel breakfast, I would definitely went down to get the queue before packing my luggage. Who will know that it would be like this. It’s my really first time to wait for 1 hour to have breakfast.
Lastly, I was so tired and want the massage, so I booked one. Not sure whether it’s normal for Japanese style or not, but compared to Thai massage and Korean massage, I shouldn’t have paid for it . Too expensive but not help at all. I came back to my room to acupuncture myself instead.
Luckily that I stayed 2 hotels in Hakodate, so I moved to another hotel on the next day and feel much better.
Oh, a few things I like about this hotel.
1. The pictures along the way to another wing (during my walk to onsen). There were beautiful
2. A rental car place in front of hotel, during my waiting for breakfast queue, I walked there and found a good price car rental.

PPietro150The Smile Hotel Premium Hakodate Goryokaku is a typical Japanese business hotel, so although the photos of the rooms may look as though the rooms are reasonably spacious, in reality it’s just a typical business hotel, with minimal space. While this should not be a big issue for many guests, if you’ve not experienced it before, be ready for a rather space limited experience. Having said that, the room was quite clean and apart from some scuff marks on the walls, it presented quite well. It’s also important to note, that since it’s a business hotel the bathroom is quite small, with the bathroom wash basin protruding into the bath tub & shower area and the toilet was clearly designed for significantly smaller users. Apart from changing towels, providing new slippers and replenishing coffee & tea supplies, there was no servicing of my room over the duration of my 3-night stay. This is all normal, so be ready for it.
The biggest annoyance was that there was no air conditioning available during the period I stayed. This is hotel policy at this time of the year, and the management clearly think that guests have no right to control the temperature, and therefore enjoy some level of comfort in their room. Because of this, on my first night the room temperature was approximately 25°c (although I couldn’t turn the air conditioning on, the control unit displayed the actual room temperature), which when combined with the fact that the bed has an arctic standard duvet (or futon - whatever you want to call it), the temperature of the room was NOT conducive to restful sleep. When I enquired about this the next morning, the front desk clerk bluntly said “open the window”, which of course I had tried to do during the night, but for some reason the handle to open and close the window had been removed, making it impossible to open the window. The clerk kindly offered to go to my room and open the window (presumably using a special tool) once I had left the room for the day, which he did. The difference in room temperature was quite noticeable when I returned that the evening, but why this policy in the first place, and the belligerence and attitude of management about guest comfort is beyond me.
The other issue was the WiFi, which was patchy and unreliable on my floor. The only way I could connect any of my devices (2 phones & 1 tablet), was to go to the lobby, connect and then return to my room. Once a connection had been established, I was able to reconnect whenever I returned to my room, however the strength of the WiFi signal varied considerably when making calls using various apps (e.g., WhatsApp, Line and FB Messenger) and therefore the call stability was unreliable with calls frequently dropping out. When I mentioned this to front desk staff, they offered to reset the WiFi on my floor, however it made little difference.
The above matters (air conditioning and WiFi) are all things that are taken for granted these days and are expected of any reasonable hotel, so to experience the difficulties outlined indicates to me that the hotel management is not really serious about guest satisfaction or comfort.
Draw what conclusions you will from this review, but from my perspective, it’s is unlikely I would stay at this hotel again when I next return to Hakodate.

AAlec Muklewicz 穆子德Great hotel in the heart of Hakodate. Breakfast is the best I have had in Japan in terms of quality and variety. It was quite affordable with great services, amenities, and location at the heart of Hakodate. Rooms are sizable. Not too far from train, bus, and tram services.
Hotel staff even bothered to address and deal with a dying bird found outside their property that we saw and called the proper authorities.

禁煙可能なお部屋が多い中、喫煙者である同伴者は大変喜んでおりました。
加えて、部屋に残るニオイの対応もしっかりとされており、心地よく過ごす事が出来ると思います。
肝心の温泉ですが、源泉のパワーを頂く事が出来る
大満足の温泉です！
