V8plus Huanzhi Hotel Haikou Qilou Laojie Branch

Small hotel located in a convenient location in Haikou downtown area opposite the park. Clean and newly renovated rooms, wash basin located in room , design with tap on the site is rather cool and convenient. Rooms overlooking the park are better, those facing the back have rather boring views of old buildings and roof tops. Down site is the breakfast - lack variety and quantity. Food ran out by 8.30am when there are a lot of hotel guests. Drinks like soya bean ran out and when the attendant was asked , she just bluntly said "no more " Another guest asked if she can top up the fried vegetables, he was told to eat other food available. There are not many choices- only fried instant noodle, hard boiked eggs, clear seaweed soup, plain fried cabbage, boiled sweet potato, siew mai stuffed with glutinous rice, plain buns , pork buns, plain porridge, Barley porridge, soya milk and cut local oranges, many of which ran out by 8.30am Good for a short stay for up to 2 dsys and if you plan to explore the city on your first trip here. .

Feel pity for the one cleaner who has to look after rooms for3 floors. You can imagine the effort and effects on each room

Quite new hotel with high-tech voice gadget similar as ALEXA to control aircon,TV curtain ask anythings, High recommended to those intend to stay in Haikou For convenience location to Qilou old street ,also next door good restaurants for fast food n upstairs for quality seafood 😋, Even behind cheap hawkers style food

Good location if you are going to the Old street arcade. Don't opt for breakfast as there are better food in the vicinity.

Value for money, opposite a huge park, with lots of group activities, dancing, excercise, etc., the room has a big projector screen in front of the bed. The shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin are all part of the room, see the photos to understand this concept. There is a robot that delivers food to your room.

We had a very pleasant 3 nights stayed at V8plus Huanzhi Hotel Haikou Qilou Laojie Branch. We have received excellent supports and services from your staff, from the reception, housekeeping and breakfast services. They were polite and very helpful. A sufficient good breakfast spread. We thank you for the free cold packed drinks given to us when we return to the hotel after a hot day out. At night after 10pm, super the green beans soup and free used of washer and dryer for laundry. This is one of the best modern hotel with excellent service we've ever stayed so far. We would like to specially commend one of your staff Mr Li from the reception service, who has so kindly help us without hesitation to book 2 car transfer to the MeiLan International Airport using his personal mobile app a day before our departure. On our day of departure 20th April from 7.45am (even though he official starts work at 9am), Mr Li went extra miles communicated with us and the drivers through WeChat to ensure our smooth pick up at the hotel to the airport. The modern smart facilities in the room is good but it would be more helpful and effective if there are English languages translation in an app or on written leaflet to services foreigner and or english speaking senior citizen travellers above age 60 like us. We would highly recommend this hotel to any travellers visiting HaiKou, best location, modern facilities, well kept and staff services are excellent.
