Carmella Boutique Hotel

This was an oasis of calm and relaxation in a very busy city. We loved the relaxing sitting room near the lobby and ease of access to a park and restaurants. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Haifa.

My wife and I spent 3 nights here recently. The hotel is located at the top of Mount Carmel, not far from the Baha’i Gardens. We didn’t like the location as the vast majority of restaurants are downtown which is over 2 miles away. A taxi to a downtown restaurant took 35 minutes one night due to holiday road closures. It also proved difficult one night to get a taxi back to the hotel. We had a deluxe king room. It was fairly large and nicely appointed. Same with the bathroom. We had some problems with the tv but the woman at the front desk fixed them. The room had an empty mini-bar which was helpful for chilling drinks. Breakfast was included in our room rate and is offered at 2 nearby restaurants (Mandarin + Italiano Deli Cafe). We had to miss breakfast on 2 of our 3 days because the restaurants opened too late - the Mandarin opens at 8:30 and the Italiano Deli opens at 9:00. We were able to eat breakfast on our last day at the Italiano Deli. It was outstanding. We had about a dozen dips with bread, fruit cup, eggs and a baked potato dish. Parking is available for a few. It works reasonably well with an app but the check-in process is annoying. Someone has to get out of the car while you park in front of the gate, partially in the road, and ask the front desk to open the gate. The system should be replaced or supplemented with a speaker system. The people working the front desk were friendly and helpful, particularly the woman who fixed our tv. Overall, the place is nice but I didn’t see anything “boutique” about it. It’s just a small hotel with good rooms.

My family had a Baha’i Pilgrimage and were so happy we chose to stay at the Carmella Boutique Hotel! We loved it’s intimate qualities. First and foremost the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful, the room and hotel was beautiful and clean and had lovely hospitality touches, the common places are fitting for nice get togethers as a family and with friends and it location is close to the Baha’i Gardens and a variety of services in the Mercaz HaCarmel part of Haifa.

Excellent location, quite atmosphere, free parking, pleasant personal, delicious breakfast at nice restaurant,located in several minutes walking from the hotel. מקום מעולה לחופשה בחיפה ! Замечательно , я получила всё, о чём мечтала

Accueil moyen après des heures de voyage. Nous arrivons dans une toute petite chambre ( l’abri ). Le personnel de la réception change tout le temps. Pas de petit déjeuner sur place, la véranda extérieure sert aux événements ou au personnel mais pas aux clients. Sinon bon emplacement mais l’endroit pourrait être extra si quelqu’un s’en occupait vraiment. Souci d’odeur humide dans les chambres. Nous devions revenir en fin de séjour et nous avons finalement pris un Airbnb moins cher et plus pratique.
