We booked our Ha Ziang loop tour with Green Hill Hostel (reviewed separately) and stayed here before & after the trip. The owner Muong (sorry if spelt wrong) & her family couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming. She kept in touch before our arrival & picked us up from the Hanoi bus drop off point. No query went unanswered. Greenhill Hostel is on the outskirts of Ha Giang which makes it quicker to start the tour & quieter than being in town (except for the dogs next door). The grounds & gardens are lovely, so many birds & butterflies fluttering around. Also a little family chihuahua that will enthusiastically greet you & snuggle with you if you let it. We had a private room which was clean & comfortable with little balcony to sit out on. The private rooms seem to be set up on the hill away from the dorms. Breakfast was excellent, an eggy, cheesy French toast kind of dish. As Greenhill is family owned & run, by the end of your stay you do feel like part of the family. We were kindly invited to Muong’s beautiful home to have dinner with her family, friends & neighbours & were treated so warmly & kindly by everyone & the food was incredible. A definite highlight of our trip. Lovely experience & would stay with Greenhill Hostel & do their Loop tour again if ever back in Vietnam. Excellent experience from start to finish.

Did the Ha Giang loop for 3N/4D with these guys. An absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. Our drivers, Tin and Doe, kept us so safe and were extremely fun to tour with. We were very blessed to have these 2 guys as our guides. All food was incredible at every stop also and home stays were all great. Views were phenomenal and the communication with the owner was amazing. Extremely helpful. Highly recommend staying and going on the loop with Green hill hostel. I can't recommend enough.

From start to finish our Ha Giang 4 day loop trip was amazing & seamless. We booked months ahead & communication was always prompt & clear. Even when typhoon yagi disrupted plans the information provided was accurate & flexible. The trip itself was phenomenal- an amazingly beautiful place made all the more enjoyable by our fantastic drivers - Binh, Thai & Huu. These guys were always safe, fun, helpful, reliable and quick with a laugh. They are the best!

Great people. Very helpful and accommodating. I booked through Viator, and I could not be happier with staying at Green Hill. Iboojed a room the night before my 4 Day Motorbike Tour, and an extra night afterward. Binh, my guide, was exceptional. I booked a private tour, but Green Hill can also arrange groups as well as car tours instead of a motorbike. I travel a lot, and Green Hill went the extra mile to make my experience exceptional. I only wish I could give more than 5 stars...

Went through this company for our ha Giang loop tour, ended up only staying here one night due to timings before starting the tour. Nice room and really helpful family, good breakfast too. Our tour with Tinh and Binh was amazing, we did 4 days 3 nights, and we were very happy to have them as drivers. Definitely recommend as they made the trip very easy for us and we did not have to worry about anything. Thank you!

We had an excellent custom tour of the ha giang loop. The riders were fantastic, safe and well organised. The pricing was sharp but we really wanted the VIP treatment and they certainly did not disappoint. Homestays were amazing and the hosts were simply amazing people.

A great place to stay with good service. We had a great journey (Ha Giang Loop: 4D 3N) with our easyride and our tour guide Thang, easyrider Dung and Khoa were very friendly and drove safely. The dinner provided at the homestay during the trip was good. Highly recommended to take the trip and stay its worthy.

Hostel is great Motorbikes - accommodation - perfect food - family friendly the food here is delicious - they provide very good tours - recommend everyone to come here - new motorbikes, scooters, manual cars , there are many manual clutch cars for you to choose from

Green Hill hostel was a perfect place to stay for us. The hosts were kind and funny, and hosted a delicious family dinner. When we arrived late with the bus from Sa Pa and had had no stops to eat, the host asked her brother to prepare us a meal. We also did the Ha Giang loop with the hostel. The host knows a guy from the region named Thang that organised the tour and drove us. We were a small group (3 people) and had 3 easy riders (Thang and 2 of his cousins). They were amazing people and had good driving skills. We enjoyed the loop a lot and had great fun with our drivers that we had lunch and dinner with as well. The dinners involved drinking happy water and singing karaoke every night. It was a fun experience!
