The Greenwood Resort, Guwahati

Stayed here for 2 nights. Resort is awesome. Rooms are well maintained,clean and big. Little out of city . Only issue is staffing is inadequate in restaurant, kitchen and in room dining. They took ages to prepare basic eggs , dosa and tea. While food came to room it was cold

Booked "The Suite" for my wife's birthday and the condition of the room was pathetic. The wallpaper was torn and coming out in the whole room, the room overall was dingy and not well-maintained. The bathroom seemed like it belonged in a 2 Star Hotel. Greenwood charged me 15K for the stay. At this rate, you can book the Suite of any other Premium hotel of Guwahati and you will get a room which is at least twice as better. The stay was not value for money at all and I felt like I was cheated. I have stayed in the basic room of Greenwood before, and it is much better than the Suite. so Please dont waste your money by booking the suite.

Weirdly inhospitable and lazy people, won't bother replacing drinking water bottles or coffee packets until you beg to, won't clean rooms until you ask. I had a three day stay, and after being aware of their attitude,called and told them to clean my room. I come back around 9 to same room, empty water bottles and empty coffee/milk tray. I dare someone from their team refute my claim coz I made a video of the same.

On our way to Shillong, we just dropped into this resort in April 2016 with our kids for lunch and what caught our eyes were the big jackfruits. The resort has the look of a farmhouse and we made up our mind to visit again. Fortunately, we could make it this month but not with our kids. Our main objective to visit the Kamaksha devi temple has been successful but our visit to this resort has made this trip a memorable one ❤. The resort is extremely well maintained and not an inch of it is muddy or messy amidst heavy rains. The name Greenwood is justified. It has a library, pool with a Bagan Cafe, bakery, playground, sitting areas & what not. A Shiv Parvati temple is another attraction for spiritual people. The food is good but breakfast items aren't that many. The restaurant staff, housekeeping staff, security and front office staff are very helpful and cordial. The rooms are very spacious with all amenities. Room nos 201 to 204 are particularly very good.

Visited this resort in the Month of Jan 2024 for the Wedding and Found it good and Well managed. Property is Huge and Elderly might need a E Rickshaw to commute. Food Served here is good and Spread is wide. Network here is a big Issues and You didn't get a good coverage here. Only option is the Intercom.

I went there is attached my friends weeding where I felt the place need maintenance and proper construction of the hotel I am happy that I did not choose that place to stay or get my marriage done there also the food is not good at all so no to thia hotel
