Jasmin Beach Hotel

I’m not entirely sure how this hotel is rated a 4 star, the housekeeping is poor to say the least, sheets were not changed our whole stay, you had to ask for clean towels more than once. There was a drain next to our toilet which over flowed and leaked sewage water all over the bathroom floor, when we told reception it seemed as though it was a common problem, they sent someone to fix it but didn’t clean the dirty floor or remove the dirty towels and replace with new we had to ask for this to be done. One member of our group waited over 2 hours for new towels when she eventually walked to reception to ask in person the member of staff asked her where she thinks he can get her towels from in the reception area?! Then a member of the house keeping team advised her that as her room number wasn’t in the area of the hotel that she worked she couldn’t get her any….. not the kind of service you’d expect from a 4* The bathroom in our room was grotty looking, the grout was black, the shower head was gross and the sink was covered in filler and sealant. The doors & walls were covered in marks and looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned in months. On the flip side the staff in the restaurant were brilliant, I was with two children so had a few spillages and dropped food which I’m more than happy to clean up myself however they wouldn’t allow me too. They were straight to the table with a mop or a broom to clean. The food options for kids are limited especially if you have fussy eaters or a child with sensory issues. They had a kids corner which consisted of spaghetti and a tomato that was all, some nights they didn’t even have that. Snack bar was from 2:30 - 4:30 which was burgers or nuggets. The beach which is across the road opposite the hotel was dirty, rubbish everywhere and had stray dogs laying all over it. Such a shame it’s not kept clean as it’s a beautiful area and scenic. We spent one day at the panoramic bar which has another quieter pool and baby pool, there were electrical wires exposed by the baby pool. A member of our party also had a room nearer to the back of the hotel which overlooked a courtyard which had been sectioned off using a dirty looking potato sack sheet… apparently this is where the manager lives. Looks awful!! The entertainment was just OK, they play the same songs every night which is odd considering they have a DJ…. If you are staying in a room surrounding the main hotel building the music is loud and you will be able to hear it in your room. One night a few members of our group went out for drinks in the town upon arriving back at the hotel they found the security guard asleep at his post. This is just an OK hotel, don’t be fooled by the immaculate reception area because that seems to be the only room in the hotel that’s cleaned.

Right when we arrived it was fantastic. Heat was great and people were friendly. When we checked in we was shown to our apartment. The safe didn’t work . So I went down to the reception to say that all I needed was some batteries and a screwdriver. Half an hour later still waiting. You would think on arrival you would have some form of food or drink. Nothing. As the night went on the kids wanted WiFi . I went down to reception, and was told that I needed to put our passport number in and room number, but 1st of all the receptionist has to put these details into the computer system. They could have told us this when we arrived… WiFi is hit and miss…. So to the apartment. Outside light didn’t work . Parts of the fridge broken. One of the tvs didn’t work. Bathroom window broken and wouldn’t close properly. My son got stuck in the bedroom, my daughter had to go and get some one to break the door down. . Food all inclusive.. you won’t starve. But the choice is well, you will get bored. 1 toaster for 600 people. Can’t or won’t make an omelette. I understand the bacon and sausage problem because of their religion. Some staff go out of their way to help, others just take the p..s. Ozzi was amazing.he cooked me some mushrooms. Anne the customer service manger is amazing. All the staff at the barbers and sauna are amazing , can’t fault them. These people made my holiday bearable.so the games room well pool table and equipment out of date and past its sell by date , same as tennis table. We purchased our own equipment. The lobby bar. Prices change every day .the bloke is ok ,but to change you prices daily a joke.

Just come back for a lovely stay at the Jasmin beach hotel. I really don't understand some of the negative reviews on here. Staff were all so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Muhammed the small waiter was always so smiley and helpful. The food was lovely and plenty of variety for everyone I felt and always nice and hot. Fresh food on the grill cooked as you waited. Entertainment was great loved the Turkish night with the waiters all dancing. Great location only a couple of steps from the beach. Pool area was very clean and never struggled to get a sunbed. There was quite a few people who were regulars there so it can't be that bad! I would highly recommend this hotel don't be put off by the negative comments.

We had a lovely 10 days at the Jasmine Beach hotel It is advertised as a 3 star hotel on Jet2 and I agree with that rating The staff are a credit to the hotel, all pleasant and very hard working. The waiters in the dining room were especially good and couldn’t do enough for us at every meal. Anne in guest relations was very helpful when we had a few issues with our room that needed sorted. Also for general advice about the hotel or the area, she was very helpful. The pool and bar areas are all well kept, although some general maintenance is required with pool steps. The food was generally ok, lots of choice and what I expected for the standard of hotel. Drinks were fine. Our room was in C block and on 2nd floor (no lift). It was cramped for a family of 4 (with 2 teenagers). The single beds were difficult to get past due to being too close to furniture. Difficult to open fridge as it was at bottom of the bed. The room wasn’t clean. It was dusty and didn’t appear to have been mopped prior to us. It was not mopped the whole 10 days we were there, not sure it was even swept. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned , the taps and shower screen were water stained and looked like they hadn’t had a proper clean for a long time. I asked for urgent issues to be sorted on day 2 and they were quickly resolved and I was told the room should be cleaned daily. The cleaner did come in and change towels and make beds daily but no cleaning . It’s a shame as that let the place down . I didn’t want to complain every day but in hindsight I should have . I’ve read similar comments here so I’m aware the cleaning issues were not just in our room We did have a good holiday but the overall room cleaning standards let the hotel down and should be addressed

Such a good hotel, went with my family and my friend and had an amazing time. we went last year and again this year, honestly wouldnt go anywhere else ☺️ lovely place with even lovelier staff , highly recommend!! Theres also so much to do there, and right across from the beach and 10 mins from the clubs and bars
