Los servicios son extremadamente caros y aunque se guarda calidad en todo: no flexibilidad y no te hacen sentir como en casa: no se ponen de acuerdo; necesitábamos una salida tardía, el primer día que sí y después a la hora final: nos dicen corran: ya tiene que salir, no esperarías eso de un hotel de lujo, pensarla dos veces antes de decidir, espero sirva mi opinión pues cuesta dos veces un hotel de lujo en otra capital del mundo y con más amabilidad

Solo con salir a la terraza de tu habitación descubrirás este mágico lugar. Ni un solo ruido. Literal, es impresionante. La ducha de la habitación sublime. El desayuno sensacional. El SPA TOP, comer dentro una experiencia, el Sushi magnífico. Recomendable 100%. Volveré.

We stayed here on our European trip! It was the much needed break that we needed with our family in a location that was the most wonderful experience. Everything about this hotel was next level. My favourite thing was the view from the room. As Australians we aren’t used too such a view - and it was stunning! One day we will come back!

Stayed for two nights. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is varied and the food is great. Everything is fresh. The spa is clean and there are plenty of towels and robes. Robes are only from small to XL, so if you are large, they won’t cover well.

The Retreat is well named as it truly is a place of comfort and serenity. Because of the recent volcanic eruptions you have the surreal experience of driving through a lava rock field to this oasis. The staff were welcoming from the first moment and throughout our stay. The room was roomy, comfortable and modern. Every component well thought to encourage you to disconnect from the busy world we live in. There are no tv’s in the rooms and the quiet is welcome. The shower room, it has doors on both sides for a true enclosure, is amazing. Be sure to push all three buttons to experience the different flows of water. The spa experience was also so relaxing. We tried the water massage and had two reactions. It is not, and is not meant to be a typical body impacting massage. Rather it is a calming, sensory reducing experience. We had a lovely dinner at the Michelin one star Moss restaurant. The service, the presentation and the unique dishes were delightful. If you are coming to Iceland and can afford what is admittedly a pricey experience, by all means come to the Retreat.

Everything was perfect. The ritual, the private changing room, the lagoon, the steam room and dry heat room - really nice. At times we were the only ones in the retreat lagoon waters, so it was not crowded at all! Staff was very kind and informative as well.

The Retreat is well worth the money when visiting the Blue Lagoon. We hit the Blue Lagoon as soon as we landed, and it was great way to start the trip and relax after the flight. The customer service is incredible and the additional experiences are great. We did the in water massage, which was different and very relaxing.

This is the most luxurious way to enjoy the Blue Lagoon. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. Treatments are high quality. Time in the lagoon is excellent. I cannot possibly say enough positive things. Just go. You will not regret it. The best thing is the lack of crowds and no cell phone policy. It's quiet, private, calming. It's everything a true spa should be. Next time, we will book a room and stay for a while.

Whatever you have to do; cash out the 401-K, tap the kids college fund, postpone the kitchen remodel, treat yourselves to a couple of days here. I've stayed in Four Seasons, Ritz Carltons and other high end resorts and hotels, and I have never been as well treated as I was at the retreat. I could go on for several pages, but it wouldn't really describe the experience. .
