Very horrible I canceled my room and they still charge me now I’m out $$$

Holes in wall, torn and dirty bed sheets, terrible lighting, disgusting mattress, and so much more! Walked in and walked right back out. This place has to be the worst place I’ve ever seen! I wouldn’t stay here even if they gave me free nights.

I booked this place on accident..... I work graveyard in the Motel business . I thought i booked another motel. I was told NO REFUND by the booking agent. I called the motel directly, the girl was friendly and I asked to move it one day she is working on changing my check in date. It is better then paying for a night I wasn't there. It’s been almost a month since I visited the hotel and opted Not to stay there.The last words I had with Nareech the front desk person on duty as I was leaving he said to me ,”No I would not be charged, “I was implicit, ( this isn’t my first rodeo) Will I be charged ? No. he said .I was charged. After multiple calls over 3 weeks ( I spoke to 5 different employees) with everyone playing dumb “ we don’t know when he’ll be in “ I called and spoke to him . He screamed at me for 2 minutes not allowing me to understand why I was charged after our very clear understanding I would not be charged. He proceeded to fabricate a narrative to fit his reason for charging me. Called me a liar. I called back trying to talk to him , same screams same result. One more time this time I asked to speak to his boss. Julia, he tell me she’s in tomorrow morning , it’s tomorrow morning and , she’s not there Tatiana doesn’t know when she’ll be in AND wont give me her last name. Today it’s not about the money, this person is to volatile to be in customer service and clearly has ( as I recognized when I checked ) in serious emotional issues.

I was looking for budget lodging for one night stay close to the airport in Portland, and found Portland Suites Airport East met my criteria. My overnight stay was comfortable. The front lobby was under renovation, but that was not an issue. Check in and check out were quick and trouble-free. Fridge and microwave furnished, but no coffee machine. Convenient free parking at the hotel.

The hotel is in renovation right now so there were no amenities but that was okay since we were only staying a night after a long night at fair 3 hours from home. All the staff were friendly the hotel just needs some renovating is all. Cool vintage vending machines. guy who checked us in (On night 08/06/22) was very nice and accommodated us with a better room without us even asking! Very sweet I will definitely come back if im in the area and need a lowcost comfy bed to sleep in and chill!! They also ask for a $100 deposit in case you smoke in a room or break anything which can be cash or credit which is a plus theres an atm right next to the hotel and you dont need to wait for a refund issue in a week or so. In the morning they just quickly ask one of the cleaning persons to peek in the room real quick, definitely a guaranteed hundred back so no worries. Free parking also! Just an awesome old school hotel

This hotel is under significant construction, and they do not disclose that on their website. We could tell the lobby was under construction, but we had no idea that there would be Construction at 7 a.m. on the first and third floor. We had hammers and nail guns pounding into our ceiling at 7. Literally in the room above us! The rooms are nowhere near what is pictured. We had a room with slashes in the drapes, holes in the floor, a torn sham and exposed drywall in the bathroom. There was also something left in the bathroom so I'm not sure the bathroom was cleaned?? There was no manager on site to take a complaint and the clerk just kept telling us she couldn't do anything about it. The poor thing needs a new job!! There was also no breakfast served. That option was listed in the description but was not in the amenities section so probably our fault for overlooking that. The Manager, Julie, did not respond to my emails and actually hung up on me when I called to ask for a partial refund of the room.

Booked here because the ********** rate for a king size bed suite was on $71+tax. Of course, there’s a reason for it. It’s not in a great neighborhood, they’re doing remodeling is the lobby and the rooms are not the greatest. There are plenty of outlets and good lighting but everything is dated and worn. They make copies of drivers licenses of all adults and take a $100 security deposit because they’re all non-smoking rooms. Haven’t slept in the bed yet but I like that it’s a king, hopefully my back won’t suffer.
