We did not stay there - the property was amazing, though. This is a restaurant review only. We decided to go big for a celebration dinner for our friends. There was a stand-up ad on one of the tables boasting that this was the areas best fine dining . Quite frankly, I don't think they would know fine dining here if it bit them on the behind. Our Hostess, Emma, was great. Really. Our server, Skyler, was nice, and did OK when she visited. By the time we were ordering we were the only guests in the room. Drinks were perfect, but small martini. Straight downhill after that. I'm never thrilled about paying $52 for choice or select ribeye but I'm pretty sure this was NY strip. Had to send it (and a 2nd plate) back because the potatoes, gravy and carrots were refrigerator cold. Steak was sort of warm. The rest of my party was pretty much finished eating when it came back. Note, restaurant was empty, so kitchen was not overwhelmed. I had to ask for a table wipe-down before dessert. Custard, meh. Apple crisp ...burnt. Really. Not a $400 happy meal.
