The Grandeur Estate

My wife and I recently spent 3 nights at the Grandeur Estate. We booked it based on recommendations from friends and family. It was outstanding—the accommodations, the staff and the wonderful breakfasts. The hospitality was just great! We look forward to staying again. Dan Mahoney

A grand historic building with spacious rooms that are extremely clean. The bed was especially comfortable and the rooms were so quiet and serene. The service was remarkable, they really made us feel welcome and went above and beyond!! So much thoughtfulness was put into the comfort of our stay. The lounge area was equipped with many beverages and snacks and we enjoyed our breakfast. We’d love to come back and stay here anytime.

There appears to be nothing that the owners won’t do for their guests, 24/7. The food and refreshment are gourmet, and generous. I highly recommend this property particularly for large groups who are in town for a family event. Luxury in Greensburg!

I stayed at The Grandeur Estate and had a wonderful time. One of the owners, Tony, met me and gave me a tour of the building. It was magnificently restored and retained so many wonderful details. The bathroom was very well renovated and my room had a balcony, which was lovely! The breakfast the next day was tasty and the other owner was so kind that she came in early to make sure I could leave in time for my appointments. They were kind, gracious and welcoming there and the hotel itself was wonderful. Definitely staying there again the next time I'm nearby!

Looking back on our travels in 2023, one of the highlights was a great winter weekend get-away (under four hours from the Washington, DC area) that my husband and I shared at The Grandeur Estate and it was made memorable because of the very special place this is! It is especially delightful for those who appreciate the splendor and qualities of fine historic mansions from the by-gone years, as this beautiful mansion was built at the end of the "Gilded Age" era. Details of the beautifully restored event rooms on the first floor include exquisite wood paneling, huge fireplaces, grand staircases, and embossed leather and elephant skin walls! Warm and hospitable in every way, the innkeeper/owners, a very charming couple, attended to every detail of our first stay, including a recommendation of a wonderful local restaurant just blocks away. We left The Grandeur Estate feeling very "grand" ourselves and as if we had discovered the best-kept secret in Pennsylvania. We knew we wanted to return again during warmer months to see more of the renovated space and the beautiful grounds. We highly recommend this boutique hotel for a special occasion get-away and we can easily envision it as an ideal venue for a unique wedding, corporate retreat, or business/political event. Well worth the drive for us, this unique destination is going to draw many tourists to the area and put Greensburg, Pennsylvania on the map!

We had a wonderful experience at this remarkable location. The Grandeur Estates has been updated and under new ownership. Julia and Tony were so welcoming to our party of of six. The rooms were beautiful with luxurious furnishings, new Italian marble bathrooms, comfortable beds, plus gathering location to meet and spend time together. The breakfast was lovely with assortment of fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, goat cheese and mushroom omelets, avocado toast with fried eggs plus any type of eggs you would prefer. Julia provided us with full tour of the main floor that features two dinner rooms, cocktail room, and much more. The original hardwood floors, built in cabinets, crown moldings, unique wall treats, 15+ Fireplaces with original tile were stunning. Checkin and check out was easy and pleasant. We plan to go back!!
