Lovely place to stay. Spacious rooms. Complimentary beverages. High quality, comfortable bedding. Beautifully appointed furnishing. Very clean. Located in a beautiful downtown. Great Barrington offers a great downtown. Many restaurants & unique shops.

Had a wonderful stay at The Barrington - loved the convenient location and the spacious room, comfortable bed, yummy breakfasts. The hotel is quiet, clean and well appointed. A big thank you to William and his staff for their kindness and hospitality.

Just an amazing hotel. Big rooms, excellent location and outstanding breakfast included. Kudos to William who makes your stay nothing but memorable. I was sad when I tried to book March 2025 that they may not be there anymore…. Say it isn’t true!

The Barrington deserves its popularity. For a small B&B, the attention to detail was on the level of a four or five star hotel. My room was charming, airy, clean and nicely appointed. The breakfast was certainly the best I have ever had at a B&B and the staff who served me were a pleasure to see each morning. The Berkshires have a lot of small inns and B&B's but this place is putting in a lot of thought and extra work to make this place extra special and comfortable. The location is also great.

What an absolutely fabulous stay we had at The Barrington! Booking on line was easy and questions and requests I had before the stay were acknowledged promptly and graciously. Everything about this B&B is outstanding. There is stunning art work along the passageways, in the accommodation and in the lounge/breakfast Great Room. Our accommodation was beautiful - spacious, comfortable, relaxing and serene, even while facing on the busy Main Street. William and Faittyane are the quintessential hosts, and were so welcoming, we felt as if we were staying with old friends. Breakfasts were scrumptious and very generous, including delicious pastries and fresh fruits, all artfully arranged. They went above and beyond to surprise us with a happy birthday breakfast “creation”, worthy of three Michelin stars! This lovely, touching gesture truly brought a smile to our hearts. The birthday Valdobbiadene prosecco was perfectly chilled and generously accompanied by exquisite artisan chocolates! The location couldn’t be more convenient, with effortless parking on site and walking access to the best of Great Barrington: the colorful shops, the River Walk, the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center, many art and theater events and several restaurants. We can't wait to return for another visit and would recommend this amazing place to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality and a slice of La Belle Vie! My wife and I travel to Great Barrington each July 4th weekend so she can exhibit her paintings at the Berkshires Arts Festival. We’ve struggled to find a clean and comfortable place to stay. The Barrington surpassed our expectations! Great communication from William and team prior to our arrival with instructions on how to access the property and the breakfast ordering process. The room (#2) was excellent with a comfortable king sized bed and modern bathroom. In this post COVID era, we loved the daily housekeeping service. The breakfast each morning was our favorite! Simple options, but all made fresh, with a French flair. The breakfast was worth at least $20 per person, per day if bought separately. There was some confusion with my original reservation as I was contacted a week before our arrival with the news that they couldn’t honor my daily rate due to some sort of mistake. I pushed back on this as I had a confirmation email showing the rate and they agreed. We recommend The Barrington!
