East Rock Inn

Nicely appointed room, comfortable bed, extremely clean. Tasteful interior with plentiful good quality towels and bath products. Coffee/tea options with a refrigerator for your own snacks or leftovers! Easy check in and good communication. Ample parking.

I was slightly hesitant upon entering the motel area in the evening on a Thursday night as there was only one other car in the parking lot and I was alone with my young daughter to ski the next day. After opening the door to our room, I felt differently. This hotel is extremely clean and new. It is spotless and I have not a single complaint. The keypad entry was easy to use and the obvious cameras on the outside of the motel felt safe. The text message conversation had as a "front desk" situation was helpful and someone was willing to come right away to help with the heat and TV (until I figured out on my own what I was doing wrong). The only complaint is that the parking area was very icy in the morning. Without someone right there on site and us being one of the only two rooms it seemed were occupied, it seemed like this part of the safety was an afterthought. We did go eat in the morning at the nearby and newly opened Cafe Holli which was amazing coffee and crepes and then Skied at Ski Butternut for their special $25 Friday lift tickets. In all it was a great stay and I will definitely stay there again!

Clean, comfortable, adorable, affordable, quiet, great location. Best night’s sleep I ever got in a roadside motel. My child was also happy. The sliders out to the “back yard” were great even though it was too cold to go outside. Will be making this my regular spot whenever visiting the area.

Communication was great and the place was so clean. Very cool area and loved the vibe. There is a nature trail right across the street. I brought my pup with me and they had all the essentials for him. Great location! Close to restaurants and stores. Loved this place and will be coming back!

Stayed in Rm#1ADA Enjoyed the stay immensely !!! Was Super Clean !! Yes pillows nice and Soft and my girlfriend Loved the Mattress support 👏👏color decor,,fantastic !! I’m a finish carpenter and the woodwork was well done!! One and only one recommendation would be the shower head was a little odd and difficult for my partner and myself to use,, I would recommend a shower head that pointed down ,, it might prevent the bathroom floor from flooding,, Look forward to staying with you at East rock Inn, anytime in the future visiting great Barrington,, Have a great day!!!

Stayed in pet-friendly room which was exceptionally convenient for outdoor visits. Room had everything needed for a short stay while traveling to visit family. Room was small and modest but adequate. Bathtub would have been nice to have for those who prefer that over shower, but everything was clean and well supplied. It was a great time of the year for viewing autumn leaves as well. Booking and checking in/out were very convenient with their modern app-based system. Would definitely stay again.
