"We used the travellers inn as we wanted to see the grisdale tarn and we needed to a room to stay after the sight. They allowed us to store our luggage at the inn as our check in was at 3pm. The rooms were clean and it overlooked a farm area with lots of sheep. The room had an aesthetic look and there was tea satchets we could have as well. The staff were kind and wonderful. The rooms had the britain charm you see in old english movies. If you love sheeps, kind people, good food and 80's british aesthetics- then this place is just for you. We loved our stay here."

"Our 2 night stay in room 5 was very comfortable. The room had a huge comfortable bed & was spotlessly clean throughout. Bathroom had organic soaps & toiletries, a lovely spa bath. The room had a small balcony which was lovely for early morning coffee. The B&B is not manned throughout the evening but is secure. Breakfast is a real treat with a vast array of organic & gluten free cereals, seeds, gluten free bread as well as freshly cooked scrambled egg, mushrooms, Cumberland sausage, tomatoes Etc, cheeses & the list goes on. You can have it in the breakfast room which is nice & cosy with fresh coffee & many herbal tea choice or take it back to your room. Grasmere in the evening is quiet but there is a few restaurants within walking distance & a nice pub 2 mins walk away were you can get an evening meal. There are many lovely little cafes nearby were you can get a nice lunch. We really loved the organic theme which is why we booked it & the hosts were friendly so all in all we will definitely book again."

"El hotel es un hotel de calidad, con una ubicación privilegiada en el centro del distrito del lago. Puedes caminar/ciclo a Ambleside, a 5 kilómetros de distancia. Las caídas bajas son fáciles de caminar por una gran vista de la zona. El hotel es más como una casa privada con habitaciones. Tenemos una suite pequeña con dormitorio, baño y sala de estar. Podemos ver el lago desde el salón. El baño sólo tiene un baño y no hay cabeza de ducha que fue una dificultad para lavar el pelo. El desayuno estaba en un pub cercano - The Good Sport. Fue una selección limitada en el menú: inglés completo, colchones de desayuno, tostadas o porridge."
