Oxgang Kitchen Bar & Rooms

Absolute pleasure to deal with and David couldn’t have been more helpful arranging to get my key to me , great atmosphere and lovely place to stay . Definitely recommend and we will be back again , thank you for such a lovely stay. Karen and Gary

The food was amazing and was cooked to perfection, it wasn't too spicy and it was very flavourful literally the best curry I've ever eaten. The service was perfect, everyone was so nice would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to experience amazing cuisine would come again :)

We arrived at the oxgang kitchen and bar and were shown to our room it looked ok fairly clean not many facilities there kettle iron only and iron was a small travel one anyway we settled down for the night after our 10 hour journey and had a good nights sleep. We woke up in the morning went into the shower room and the shower was a small trickle of scalding hot water and I was unable to turn it down or get any more water from the shower. We phoned the out of hour guy and he said to hold shower down and the pressure would build up which it did not we phoned him back and all he could say was Mike was coming at 1200 when he arrived we told him the problem and he said he had no rooms available and he could not fix shower which he and his cleaner must have knew about ? We asked for a refund and at least we got that through booking . Com I advise you not to use this place .

Just had a lovely meal at the Oxgang. The food was delicious. The staff couldn't do enough for me from the minute I entered to leaving the building, assisting me with my jacket and to my chair due to my disability. I will definitely be back soon

What a find. Have mixed emotions writing this, do my self out of a place. But for £33 a night, you can't complain. A real find, just what is needed. No frills, all the usual and it has a restaurant and bar.

Stayed for 3 nights as we had a family party in Aloa. From arriving until leaving the staff, couldn't do enough for you. Paula checked us in and then sorted us a reservation out for the restaurant. The food was spot on, and the price was excellent. Dave, who was on the bar, was brilliant he really looked after us all weekend. I should have gott remaining, staff names as they were all superb I highly recommend a stop off here. .
