South Bridge Bed and Breakfast

Location, Location, Location. Loved it. Easy to get to the Falls, etc. Jody was great at recommending places to eat, ways to save $$ on activities. Room was extremely clean and fresh; she goes above and beyond on the look and feel/atmosphere. And, they had just switched from full breakfast to continental, but she made us a great breakfast our first morning anyway, and afterwards, there was a large variety of breakfast items to choose from in the coffee bar area. So relaxing just hanging out by the water each day. I chose this place because of another review from couple staying for anniversary, and that is what we did also. Our suite had a nice view, but if we go back, I will make sure I get the large suite facing the water on the back side. Amazing!

We recently spent our 25th wedding anniversary at the South Bridge Bed and Breakfast. When we first entered the room, we were overwhelmed… the view was breathtaking, gorgeous vistas of the river, a balcony to relax on, excellently appointed room and all the amenities needed Plus More! But that was just the start. The best part of our stay was our host, Jody. She was warm, friendly, and very concerned that we had a wonderful time (it was our first time on Grand Island). She made us a wonderful breakfast each day and was so easy to talk to, kind, hospitable and a great new friend!!! We can’t wait to go back!!!

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast right on the Niagara River. We stayed here to visit family on Grand Island. Breakfast was delicious. The owners were very friendly. The only negative would be that the door to the outside was difficult to get open.

We really enjoyed our stay here. As so many others have said, the Niagara Suite is nothing short of luxurious! The bed is heavenly, the 30' deck has that lovely view of the river and the bridge, and the bathroom is exceptionally well appointed including a fabulous shower and a slew of thoughtful details like a dedicated facecloth for makeup removal. Each morning we awoke looking forward to Alan's amazing breakfasts; we stayed three nights and he managed to outdo himself each day! We were celebrating our 33rd anniversary and brought a special bottle of champagne with us to have on our second night, so Alan not only provided us with elegant champagne flutes, but included "a side strawberries" as a thoughtful touch. If you want to splurge a bit, appreciate the benefits of a large, well-appointed room, and truly enjoy being well cared for, treat yourself and do stay here. What a gem!
