Champion Holiday Village

This hotel is not the usual large building but smaller low height buildings which suited us as my wife does not like lifts so we always request a low room, they’re set in amongst trees in a really nice setting, the place is very clean, (lots of chickens & ducks around the place, and the usual cats) but it is nicely kept, the pool areas are nice, however there’s no shallow pool if you have little ones, but there’s a quiet pool, and also another at the spa that’s quite private, It’s right on the beach which is nice and there is a couple of jetty’s that go into the sea that’s have ladders into the sea, which is good, as for the food, that’s where it lets itself down, the food in the main restaurant was cold at pretty much every meal time, that said, the snack bar that does lunches has a nice choice is always hot, and you’re served super fast, we enjoyed this place and had a nice holiday at the end of September and it was 30 degrees pretty much every day… there are many places you could go that are not as nice as this..

The grounds of the hotel are stunning bantee hens, cockerels, cats and kittens and a pea hen, the gardens are very well maintained. On site spa. The rooms have mostly everything you need air conditioning, fridge, free safe deposit box, 1.5 litres of water left daily fresh towels daily, clean bedding regularly, could do with a top sheet as you only have a small thick cotton blanket and the pillows are very lumpy, not enough coat hangers especially if your there for 14 nights cleaned very well daily. The pool areas are clean and very pleasant you get clean beach towels daily. The beach area is lovely with stunning views of the mountains although more attention needed of cleaning the sun loungers and tables, the beach toilets need more regular cleaning as by lunchtime there was no toilet paper or paper towels. The food although well presented mainly caters for Eastern European diets and was lukewarm and repetitive with the same dishes being served for lunch and dinner bar a few different choices, there was no toaster just a panini press which was often covered in burnt melted cheese on an evening staff need to be more proactive in resetting tables as often we had to do this ourselves as there was no where to sit. The snack bar served HOT food 12-2.30pm we ate here most lunchtimes. The Aegean restaurant was definitely worth a visit food was excellent. Most of the staff were friendly enough but some definitely need customer relations training, they focus too much on the Eastern Europeans. The evening entertainment was ok but again repetitive. The onsite mini market is very expensive use the one just outside the front of the hotel as much cheaper.

Well like every holiday you think In the back of your mind you always wounder what it going to be like ,the room ,food, staff your stay in general to be honest It was lovely. I've been coming to this lovely country for over 30 year's in that time ive loved coming here. I've seen reviews about the food there was always something that we would eat.. the only thing that was at the snack bar the majority of the time the food was warm. ‍♂️ didn't understand why. It was perfect for the wife and I, to relax after a really busy July with our daughter wedding. So yes it was perfect to chill and enjoy the sunshine and surroundings.

Just got home from a 7 night stay at Champion Village Hotel and myself and my mother in law had a wonderful time. We arrived early hours of the morning and the reception staff didn’t seem to speak much English- we weren’t given much information about the hotel (a welcome pack would be nice with a little map of the resort). Felt a little daunting arriving in the dark and our room was a little on the small side (we were in the first block on the left). Balcony was tiny. We knew we weren’t going to be in the room much so we decided to just suck it up. The room was cleaned every day. Had to ask for fresh towels and sheets on a couple of occasions as the cleaners forgot to leave them. Air con in the room was a god send! The hotel has a very relaxing vibe and is surrounded by mountains and greenery which helps you to unwind. Lots of sports activities going on during the day- darts, aerobics and volleyball. The entertainment team are brilliant, hardworking and friendly- especially Aykut who organised the day time events and was always around at night time to interact with guests. There were some good shows on and music on every night with a wide variety of songs for everybody. Cocktails available on A/I- the red night was my fave . The bar and restaurant staff work really hard. I particularly liked that the chefs from the kitchen were always mingling in the restaurant to ensure quality control and overseeing the running of the restaurant. There is plenty food choice and something for everybody. Flavoursome dishes, fresh salad and grilled meats every night. In addition there is a coffee bar that is open from 10:00 that serves delicious coffee, cakes and pastries! Nice touch. Felt like a Starbucks. Snack bar is ok but we had cold food on our first visit- sent it back for reheat without quarrel. We gave it another shot and ordered pizza, which was much better and tasty. Highly recommend visiting the lady in the corner making Turkish pancakes- amazing! Pool was a perfect temperature and we always managed to get sunbeds. There is also a ‘quiet pool’ if you want to sit in peace. Main pool has music etc during the day. I particularly liked that the guest relations manager was always around ensuring that guests were satisfied- thriving for improvement is something that I can appreciate. I would recommend staying at this hotel. Some of the staff can come off as miserable and we had a little incident with one of the bar staff but the management dealt with it and we were satisfied with them outcome. Overall, the staff are hardworking and friendly and the management clearly care about their guests experience. Thank you to you all for a wonderful holiday.

Further to my previous review my partner is still receiving treatment on her injured knee . But despite this we have not recieved any form of apology or compensation from hotel or jet2 holidays . Which we find totally unacceptable. We have been coming to this hotel for several years and think of it as our favorite holiday destination. We are going to return in September 2025 & hope the hotel has taken note of all my comments on my previous review . I have sent an email to request for room 102 as we have stayed in this room in the past & it's ideal for us due to it's close proximity to all the hotel amenities. I hope that my next review will show that the hotel has taken all points seriously & our holiday will be as it should be accident free , enjoyable ,excellent food & rooms cleaned correctly. It was an amazing hotel every day breakfast lunch and dinner the food was amazing many choices to have, there was also lovely staff every day taking care of everything you need. Everyday there was pool activities held such as aqua gym, waterpolo and beach volleyball these were held by Ibrahim he made sure you did something. The room was always cleaned everyday by the staff with fresh towels. There was a beach right on the hotel which also had a beach bar with food and drinks which was always amazing would definitely come back!
