Manna, a Member of Design Hotels

The hotel stands out for its unique infrastructure and location. The cuisine at its restaurant is truly gourmet-level, offering a culinary experience that is a cut above the rest. Despite being a mountainous destination, the hotel is easily accessible and provided us with a refreshing escape from the summer heat. However, what truly impressed us was the management's exceptional handling of an unexpected car issue we faced. They took full responsibility for the related costs, even though they could have easily chosen not to. This level of service reflects the high standards the hotel maintains across the board, which I personally experienced firsthand.

THIS HOTEL IS OVERBOOKED. We decide to visit the hotel claiming to be a 5 star hotel and end up being afraid of driving at night in the middle of nowhere... We arrive and the valet, collects our luggage and we go upstairs to a waiting room. There, a welcome drink awaits us. We are asked for our name and... surprise! They tell us that they are going to look at the reservation, and we spend more than half an hour there. We ask and they tell us that there has been no problem, just give them a few minutes. Finally a waiter comes to collect our drinks and the "manager" arrives to tell us that the reservation confirmed by them has not been seen and that the hotel is full. Earlier, a redhead told us that the server was down. A RESERVATION CONFIRMED, PAID AND RECONFIRMED SIX DAYS BEFORE. The hotel does not have rooms for such cases, nor did they offer us any kind of solution. A solution to which they are legally obliged. They simply took our bags back and put them in the car. In my life I have never been in a hotel like that nor suffered a situation like that. We were told that it was Booking's problem and that the confirmations are done automatically on their server. Booking has confirmed that they overbooked the hotel. WE WERE LEFT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, taking over two hours by car to the nearest town and praying that it would not get dark in the mountains. Sadly, we left an idyllic island in Greece to end up stranded in the middle of nowhere. Big mistake. Don't pretend to be something you are not, a hotel of that category always knows how to solve unforeseen problems. Here we were left stranded in the middle of nowhere, without being taken to a hotel of the same category or offered any kind of solution. I do not recommend this hotel. YOU CANT KNOW IF YOU ARE GOING TO GET IN OR NOT. The booking was confirmed and paid , we even received a message from them telling us about the hotel's activities, only to arrive and find ourselves stranded in the middle of nowhere. As of today, WE ARE STILL WAITING for a solution from the hotel.

All the good reviews you have read about this place are true. It's a truly exceptional experience to stay at MANNA. All of the staff are so helpful and kind, eager to ensure you have a lovely time. Tonia at the front desk was a standout, giving thoughtful recommendations. As was Ismini, who was such a professional on the dining patio. And the Wellness team is brilliant. I think it was the best massage of my life!

Manna We recently stayed at the Manna during a family vacation and can wholeheartedly recommend it. The Manna is a brand new hotel located in the heart of the Peloponnese - you don’t randomly end up there. Once there, however, you will find yourself in a luxurious environment set right in the middle of nature. Pros: - The rooms are extremely quiet and comfortable. We had one Manna suite, which was quite large, and another regular room which 3 kids shared without a problem. They are also uniquely designed - The staff is very attentive and helpful. From the moment you walk in the door, someone greets you and is there to make sure that you are taken care of - The food was great! Breakfast is made to order (or buffet) and the one dinner we had was unique and delicious - While close to nothing really it seemed, it is convenient for everything. We were able to sightsee all around the region and then come back to our home base Con: - The gym is a bit small and was built more for design, rather than function. Tough to get a real workout in there versus what you would normally find at a hotel of this caliber. Not a huge deal, but important to note Thanks for a great stay

As we arrived at this amazing estate right in the heart of the Arcadian forrest we were stunned with the building at first and its unique location. After the check in I highly recommend to ask for the tour because you fully understand a lot of things about the place, the architecture and the history. The hotel is one of the best designed hotels i have ever stayed in, with attention at every detail, from doorknobs to coffee mugs. Spotless clean with morning and night room cleaning, environmentally conscious, large and cozy at the same time lounges and bar area and very interesting restaurant. All menus have greek recipes with an interesting twist, using local products. Don't wait to find exotic fruits in breakfast and croissants which apparently is a new trend in Greece but instead try the local pies and the unique vytina honey. The spa area is equipped with everything you might need for a small break and if the weather is not good -as the one we experienced- i recommend to try it. At last you could expect the staff of such a place to be a bit nosy but instead everyone was genuinely polite with a big smile which shows that they really value every customer. The hotel supposes to accepts only adults over 11 years old, but the rule is that they accept even babies! The service was very poor and not proportional for a 5 stars hotel, which is also very expensive! And even more, the hotel has no parking!!!
