Kemal's Guest House

I give it five stars for our stay but you need to understand the hotel category. This is not flash or fancy accomodation. If you are looking for a safe, clean and comfortable Pension/B & B/ and locally run accomodation, then you will be happy, this is ideal. If you are looking for a chain hotel or something luxury, you are in the wrong price category and need to revise your budget. However for value this is unbeatable for the location. The owner Kemal is onsite for help at any time and we used Kemal to book our Hot Air Balloon ride. We got a better deal this way and it was a really excellent company. We were very happy with Kemal's help for tours and shutte to/from Kayseri airport (about an hour away). We had a lot of helpful emails with Barbara before our trip. Any questions were quickly answered and transport arranged for an easy transfer. The breakfast each morning served us for two meals - it was a very generous Turkish style breakfast with eggs, pastries, local dishes, salad, yoghurts and fruits. We looked forward to our delicious breakfast every morning. Our room was warm with radiator and there was an aircon/heater in the room. Bathroom was renovated and beds were clean and very comfortable. Cleaning of rooms was on request but always easy to arrange. We will stay again with Kemal on our next visit to Cappadocia.

Nice hostel close to the city center. The best part is how helpful Kemal, the owner, was in organizing outings and suggesting restaurants. His suggestions were excellent and he booked them all for us, including an excellent balloon ride and a great tour (green tour), and shuttles to and from the airport. The location is great, there is a pleasant garden and the breakfast is very plentiful. Overall I would recommend to people looking for a less luxurious, but more authentic visit. Overall I would definitely recommend it!

Stay was amazing. Kemal booked our horse riding & balloon flight with excellent trustworthy companies which made it easy for us to just enjoy the experience. Bed was comfortable & shower very powerful. Breakfast consisted of many different choices & freshly cooked eggs cooked to your liking were also available. It was my Birthday whist I was there and Kamil and his staff went out of their way to decorate the table, sing Happy Birthday, and also get a bottle of wine, cake and candles for me that evening. I would definitely recommend Kemals Guest House.

Amazing staying at this place. Kemal was absolutely amazing and so was Barbara, who was very helpful. If you are coming through Kayseri, you also request a transfer shuttle and they'll book this for you. The place is amazing, right next to the Goreme city centre, so next to great places for Souvenir shopping, eating and just admiring the beauty of Cappadocia. The terrace is the best place to catch the hot air balloons early morning. Breakfast is amazing is as well!

You will get the best attetion on this hotel, kemal is such a kind person. He will help you at all. Very beautiful at all and an incredible smart person. He knows the best roads and trips, and he gives very goos tourism tips too.

Kemal guest house is a really nice place to spend some days in Goreme. Kemal is a fantastic host, rooms are confortable and well equipped, breakfast is good and staff, Dervish, particularly, offer all their care to satisfy ypur needs. Absolutly suggested. Only one remark to Kemal, please cut the grass of your beautiful garden!
