Best Western Plus Goldsboro

So bad we removed this hotel from our business stay list. It is hostile to the business man. I watched potential family guests leave after viewing their rooms. Black mold in bathroom, broken doors, rude management, dead large roaches in stairway, broke coffee maker, little to no room service, broken door knobs, holes in walls. One guest found blood between her sheets in what was supposed to be a freshly made bed when she checked in. Questionable people roaming (some reportedly with guns) the parking lot leaves doubt to your vehicle and family safety. When asked by BW for a review (since I was one of there highest award members) I gave an honest review backed by pictures. Instead of an apology, the GM called me on my personal phone. His attitude, tone and word choices would make a sailor blush. I can only assume that any good reviews for this hotel are from friends, family, or employees to increase the ratings since it was apparent he did not want it to improve or let others know the truth concerning what they can actually expect.

The staff sucks. A big F fail. with the booking confirmation, I went to checkin and the staff mentioned the the booking is cancelled. They were rude and unreasonable. When I escaled to manager. The manager was rude too. Pathertic experience.

The internet service was very slow. I used my cell phone as a hot spot because it was much faster that the hotel's guest internet. Several of the lamps didn't work or would l blink when on. There was an odor so we had to use Lysol to mute the odor in the room.
