A return trip ,my third, as part of a group on a classic car run. Booked directly with the Eccles Hotel. Friendly & helpful staff. Very comfortable room with a sea view. A very fine dinner & a particularly good cooked breakfast served at my table! I will be back!

The food is amazing in the restaurant, one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Complements to the chef. I’ll never forget that bread… Room was comfortable , small but all we needed , bathroom was newly renovated and there’s plenty of Voya products. Breakfast was also fantastic, made to order. Outdoor hot tub and sauna was such a treat, with a lovely glass of Prosecco. Shout out to the workers in the spa, great Cork hospitality and a shout out to Aoife L. The only negative…. The manner of the English lady at the desk barely lifted her head from the computer, no welcome or even how was the your journey. It’s a bad first impression .

What a fantastic weekend we had! Big shout out to Mags and Mary at reception, Paula our waitress, Eddie the chef (you did a masterpiece with our profiteroles!) and Adrian the barman. The food was fabulous, the rooms were small but adequate for us and the Saturday morning spa experience was great! We will definitely be back again!

Recently had a 2 night break in this hotel with my sister. The hotel is lovely. The room was modern and bed very comfy. Gorgeous view of the bay from the window. Visited garnish island and the beara peninsula. Breakfast and bar food was good. Staff lovely. The spa was fully booked while we were there. If I go again, I will book in advance.

Had a wonderful stay once again in The Eccles Hotel. My wife and I have been going there for a few years now and just love it there. The hotel itself is fantastic but the food is divine. Staff are so helpful and friendly. The Spa team especially Aoife are just wonderful the way they look after you. Can't wait for our next stay. Such a wonderful hotel and staff.

The hotel and the staff are amazing always have an excellent stay here. I read the last review and feel the comments made were totally unjustified . The English lady on reception has always been extremely polite and helpful and we praised her to the management on more than one occasion

This is a magical hotel with stunning views. The rooms are luxurious and well equipped. The staff are well mannered and friendly. The dinner overlooking the bay was wonderful - it would be difficult to find a dinner anywhere in the world that would match the atmosphere, food quality and the view at Eccles Hotel. The breakfast was also very high quality and memorable. I am a frequent international traveler and stay in many high quality hotels but was still extremely impressed with everything about the Eccles Hotel. I also found the hotel to be extremely good value (for Ireland) for this quality of hotel.

For god’s sake smile!!! The experience was spoiled by miserable staff on the reception desk. No smile, no warmth, hardly a welcome at all. This is Ireland for crying out loud. The women at the motorway toll booths were friendlier than the reception desk staff at the Eccles. No smiles, monosyllabic answers to questions, vague directions to my room meaning it took me an age to find it. The room itself was clean and fine. The breakfast ingredients were cheap but tolerable. But the reception desk staff is all that stayed with me. And all that I’ve been telling friends and family about.

Just home from an amazing holiday. Weather spectacular but the hotel would have suited us regardless of the weather. Wonderful views from the bedrooms and lovely comfortable beds. Extremely clean and the staff without exception are friendly, professional and make the stay so enjoyable. It's probably getting near the end of setting fires in the lobby but they added to our cosy evenings. Food is excellent and we definitely hope to repeat our experience next year.
