This bright and spacious apartment is part of The Glasgow Collection, a portfolio of six short term rentals located across Glasgow. The Stables apartment was refurbished in Spring 2025 and is a stunning two bed property in a fabulous central location in the trendy Merchant City surrounded by stunning architecture, high end shopping, top class restaurants, bustling trendy night life, thriving art scene and outstanding cafe culture. Its also only a 10 minute walk from Strathclyde University and a 10 minute drive from SECC/The Hydro. The flat has a bright spacious lounge with a corner sofa and a cuddle chair and has skylight windows along one wall. The flat has two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a single bed. Each bedroom has spacious storage. The bathroom has a bath and an electric shower. The stylish kitchen is equipped to the highest standard with everything you could need to prepare a meal. The flat has fast wifi and a TV with Freeview channels, free Netflix and on demand apps such as BBC iPlayer. We provide tea, coffee and other essentials such as salt & pepper and olive oil to make your stay more comfortable. Hotel standard cotton bed linen and towels are provided for all guests. For your safety there are interconnected smoke alarms and a heat detector, a carbon monoxide detector and a fire extinguisher. PLEASE NOTE that the flat is on the THIRD FLOOR and there isn’t a lift so may be unsuitable for someone with mobility issues. Located a short distance from Glasgow Green, the flat offers a convenient location for all the major attractions Glasgow has to offer. The flat is 8 minutes drive from Celtic Park and the Emirates Arena and 12 minutes drive from the Tollcross international swimming centre. The famous Merchant City is renowned for its stunning architecture, high end shopping, top class restaurants, bustling trendy night life, thriving art scene and an outstanding cafe culture Heading south a few minutes walk will take you to Glasgow Green which is Glasgow’s oldest park and is a fantastic space to explore featuring the Peoples Palace, Nelsons Monument and the Templeton Factory. Glasgow Cross and the famous Trongate are less than a minute walk way away and a 10 minute walk will take you to Glasgow Cathedral and Strathclyde University. The flat is also a 5 minute walk to the Barrowlands and a 10 minute drive to the SECC/The Hydro. The flat has a gated pedestrian entrance with a cobblestone courtyard which offers a quiet oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city. Vehicles enter from a rear entrance which is controlled by a security fob and the flat has a dedicated parking space. If travelling by car the flat can be easily reached from the M8, M74 and M77 motorways otherwise Argyle Street Train station is an 8 minute walk away, Queen Street station a 10 minute walk and Buchanan Street Bus station is a 15 minute walk away.
