Amazing place, the receptionist Mushtaq is a great host, was very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and there is a nice pool inside as well. I enjoyed my staying and want to try coming again when summertime comes. There is a breakfast included as well which was a great bonus

Booked and paid in advance to stay for three nights, based on trip reviews we were expecting a great stay. How wrong we were! On arrival we were greeted by a young man who took us and our bags to our room which was up three flights of very darkly lit unsafe stairs - reliant on sensor lighting that’s out of sync. The room was situated at the front of the building and for the price was very small, as was the bathroom. My husband asked if there was an alternative room at the back of the building, commenting on the busy and very noisy road we were on “oh that really quietens down later on “ came the reply- BELIEVE ME IT DOESN’T! neither of us got any sleep and by the next morning we had a list of complaints. The mattress on the bed is so soft it provides no support, the pillows are cheap and rock hard. The bathroom only had cold water in taps and shower, the extractor fan in the bathroom was broken and AC didn’t work properly. Breakfast was simply depressing, every table was dirty, the coffee machine wouldn’t work, so I made us a cup of instant from a kettle. Fresh produce was just left uncovered and covered in flies so no health &safety guidelines in practice. We were offered a cooked breakfast and ordered egg on toast, but it arrived looking like it had been thrown on the plate, so unappetising I couldn’t eat it. My husband again requested an alternative room at the back of the building but was told the room in question was inhabitable, because the former owner had pets in it! My husband also complained about the water being cold and the other issues. And it turned out that the switches next to the bathroom ( clearly marked with Do Not Touch) were for the water heater and had been switched off for our stay. Faced with another terrible night we decided to check out after only one night, so we returned and my husband looked for a member of staff but there was no one about so we left for alternative accommodation and took the keys with us for safety. Despite returning to hand in the keys in and hanging about waiting for a member of staff here we are on our second night in alternative accommodation and still we have been unable to hand the keys in and check out properly! Because there is no one there!! Overall the place is a disorganised shambles run by two young men who have a lot to learn about hospitality, this place offers no comfort whatsoever. Don’t waste your time and money staying here!

We spent 3 days in Ta’ Pinu B&B and we really enjoyed it. Maria & Frank are really taking care of you during the stay in this 500 year old building renovated by themselves respecting the architecture. If you ask they will be pleased to explain the history. We stayed for 6 nights. Everything was really exceptional! Right from the beginning there was a warm welcome from Frank who told us all about the history of the guesthouse. We then enjoyed night after night of Maria’s fabulous cooking. Frank made sure we had delicious wine to drink and we even got to take some bottles home 😊 The breakfast which is included with the room stay is unbelievably good! The guesthouse itself is charming. And spotlessly clean. The children loved exploring and the roof terrace has a great view and lovely for evening drinks. Gozo is a lovely destination for an interesting and scenic holiday, again Frank gave us invaluable advice about where to go and tips on what to see. The children especially loved making a new friend in Alistair and were so sad to leave. They and we are desperate to return as soon as possible for some more generous and kind hospitality. This place is a hidden gem 🥰

Accommodation is beautiful, very quirky. My room had a large balcony however due to the road noise did not use it very much. However, I did book a budget room and it did say that it was next to a main road. The bathroom was lovely and the bed very comfortable. It was a good base for exploring Gozo. I stayed just two nights and on my first night was unwell. The new owners who I believe had only been there for three days themselves were very kind. At 1.30am in the morning they came to check if I was ok and sat up with me for several hours to ensure that I was alright. As a solo traveller I really appreciated this and felt well cared for. It was my first solo trip and I was quite nervous and this gesture made a huge difference to the rest of my trip. I will return however I will book a room nearer the back next time. The new owners are wanting to provide excellent customer service and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Amazing, 500 year old stone building in a perfect location to explore Gozo. We booked the smallest room and yes it was compact but it’s worth it to stay in such a unique place (plus we had a balcony). Everything was brilliant from the breakfast to the relaxing pool. The village, with its handful of restaurants, is also worth walking around for some quiet time and it’s an easy walk to Ta’Pinu shrine. Be aware the B&B is on a main road so you will hear the odd car speeding past but that’s part of being in such a good location. Within a 25min drive we saw megaliths, went kayaking, snorkelled in clear blue sea, saw salt pans and sunbathed on a sandy beach, plus parking on the street outside is easy. The hosts were great, breakfast was so nice, I had a cooked one each day, and the building stunning. We would definitely stay again.
