Traumhotel Alpina - 4 Sterne Superior Luxushotel, Hoteleigenen Badesee, Adults Only

"We were skiing for two nights in the Alpina. We had booked the tower suite, but it is actually more a bigger double room than a suite. For about € 420 with HP per night it was also good for us and not excellent. Overall, we liked our stay but well. To the positive: The food was well, some highlights were also there. The spa area is beautiful, especially the freshly renovated part. We also liked the atmosphere in the restaurant. The drink prices at the hotel were reasonable, what we find important in hotels when spending a lot of time on the ground. However, there are slight deductions. Some parts of the hotel did, in turn, seem to be a little old baking. Our room was OK, but also rather from the older variety. The bathroom had come perceptiblely into the years. At breakfast you had to stand for egg food every morning, here would be table service much more comfortable. The skiing kelder was unfortunately very muffy. When we leave, we were not asked how our stay was, we were also not offered any help with the baggage. Between it is standard for us."

Waldhof

"We (2 couples) had a very pleasant stay at this authentic family hotel during our week of winter sports. Nothing was too much trouble and the service was amazing. A special shout-out to hostess Sabine, who went above and beyond for us. Our room was cleaned every day. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and well-prepared. We had a wonderful holiday together. The hotel is well located, just a 10-meter walk from where the ski bus passes by, and is 2 stops away from the ski lift, so you are on the lift up within 4 minutes. Parking is easy right in front of the door. The CinCin is also right next door, far enough away that you don't hear the noise 😂 we only went there once. The hotel is a bit noisy, but that is the case with most hotels in Austria. We did sleep well every night, though."

Alpenherz Hotel Garni

"Poor hotel, 3 star at best. Parking issues and no water in the fridge! Breakfast was very basic and coffee was the worst I’ve tasted this year. No air conditioning so hot in bed and slept poorly. Just needs a bit more to make it a welcoming hotel as nice spot near a river."

Hotel Sonnenhof Gerlos Centrum

"The Owner and the Personal staff are not capable and don’t no the meaning of the word hospitality. When you make a reservation and you kindly ask to put one beer on the bill you must pay it immediately. This is no issue, but as the French say : c’est le ton qui fait la musique !a blond haïr staff is very unfriendly and totally not hospitable. After we just came in to see the last minutes of a darts game , and we said that we would leave and do not wanna drink anything and the space was almost completely empty the owner asked us to leave on a very rude way , we told her that she don’t understand the hospitality. Two days before we left more then €300,= there. And if they were more friendly we might have stayed and took something to drink or eat. I strongly advise you to search another hotel in Gerlos"

Hotel Edelweiss

"Very friendly owner, good breakfast with perdonel touch, judt in opposite of the ski slope Dorfbahn. We had a stay with friends , no dinner in the hotel but within a few meters enough restos and bars👍 Also Gerlos is a nice small village with a lot to do!"
