Stavros Villas and Apartments

My girlfriend and I spent a week at the Stavros hotel and apartments and really enjoyed our time there. We had wanted some time away together as she had only returned to the UK in January after living in Australia for 18 years. She originally booked a studio room which at first seemed fine, lovely and clean but we felt that it was a little tight. We spoke to Haroula the owner and as it was the end of season she was more than happy to upgrade us to an apartment. Double bed 😉 rather than two singles pushed together, two bathrooms and balconies front and back. I’m not sure but there are no more than 15 to possibly 20 rooms. Other than a lovely Dutch couple and their two young children we had the pool to ourselves every day but also had the pick of sun beds on the beach which is through an arch by the dinning area, so you really are on the beach. Haroula and her husband Mixalis or Mike are a very lovely couple, as are her mum and dad. Breakfast is a basic buffet but enough to get you started for the day. They serve food all day and lots of people turn up from around to eat there. In the evenings the food they serve is renowned and there are lots of people coming for their evening meals. It seemed very quiet, which is what we were looking for and enjoyed our stayed so much that we are already looking to go back in May. Haroula, Mike and family, we can see why people come back, again and again, you have a wonderful place and you are so warm and caring, and if I could buy the plot of land next to yours and build a house there then I would. And then we could have coffee’s together all summer xx

It had been 25 years since we last visited and hoped it hadn't changed as it was perfect! We were not disappointed. The room was lovely, the pool really quiet and the beach was just as it had been all those years ago. Very quiet, with sunbeds and umbrellas right outside the taverna. It was total peace and relaxation for a week. The family that run this are wonderful, make you feel so at home. The food delicious! Thank you Despina. We still rave about your chicken souvlaki! We will definitely go back, hopefully soon!

1, Πολύ χάλια δωμάτια, δεν το συστήνω με τίποτα. Κάθε βράδυ συναντάμε και από μια αράχνη. Δεν καθαρίζεται κάθε μέρα, δεν μας έφεραν ούτε χαρτί υγείας. Το νερό στο μπάνιο στάζει και για να το ρυθμίσεις ή θα καείς ή θα παγώσεις. Η πισίνα βρώμικη με ζωύφια κ άμμο. Το πρωινό ελλιπές και χάλια. Μην πάτε με τίποτα. Πληρώσαμε τόσα λεφτά και μας κορόιδεψαν κανονικά.
