Stayed in the room with the balcony. There was still debris left over from prior guests. When we checked in, we felt as if we were a bother and waited about 15 minutes. The restaurant was overpriced and fair quality($14 loaf of bread really!!)

We just came back from our 6th year spending a week at the Lakehouse Inn. They have a friendly staff, great location, beautiful surroundings and, of course, the Beach House ... the reasons we always come back each year. We are also excited about the changes that we have seen over the years that continue to enhance our visit there ... the owner's vision is impressive.

The location and property we outstanding. We used the spa services, ate at Crosswinds on property and stayed in a suite. It was cold but the lake view was a nice touch. The Inn was well keeped and the room was perfect.

We got the date night package for the pilot house room and spa visit. The room has a nice view of the lake and amenities include a fireplace and 2 person tub by the windows. Dinner at crosswinds was excellent, but the delivered breakfasts were just OK. Overall we give it 4 stars (for a 5 star price tag/expectations).

The Lakehouse Inn was a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast was delicious and included in my stay. Cookies and chocolate were in my room on arrival plus snacks, drinks, coffee available all day. I was sad to leave. Absolutely a beautiful place to stay. Very homey, warm, comfortable and quiet.

Pros: great food except the breakfast, especially since you don't get a choice. Very clean, friendly staff. Cons: no choice of breakfast or wine flights (we don't like reds so half was a waste). Room and bathroom were TINY. The walls very thin. We could hear other guests beside and above...all night .... Very unsettling.

Relaxation, rest, solitude. I booked the boathouse knowing it was off season and would be very quiet. It was spectacular. The room is fabulously appointed with everything you need for your stay. I found guest services, Patrick in particular, to be very responsive. They made sure I had everything I needed and that I was well aware the restaurant was closed certain nights and what services were and were not available. Honestly though the solitude was what made the visit great! I sat on the deck without another soul around, without car noises or anything else and just relaxed. You can hear the waves from the lake crashing while sitting in the room and have a beautiful view. Pros: room was very clean, breakfast was fresh and very nice. view was SPECTACULAR. I can’t wait to go back. Staff was very responsive- they were able to provide a packed breakfast in the room for us one morning that I had to leave super early. Nice snacks and drinks provided in the room. Beautiful Christmas decorations! Bed was firm and the couch is lovely to nap on! Cons: requested a vegetarian breakfast and was given two breakfast sandwiches with meat one day. Not a big deal for us but if you have a serious allergy maybe double and triple check with staff. Definitely a couples room- the glass shower is see thru into the room and while the bath has a curtain for around it- it only blocks about 50% of the tub and it’s very visible to anyone in the room. Overall it was a wonderful retreat weekend. I can’t wait to go back when the spa and restaurant will be open although I worry that it won’t be quite a quiet if they are.

We were very disappointed to find out the spa was fully booked though the online package we paid for included a couples massage. It was to late to find somewhere else to stay when we spoke to staff over the phone to find out about the spa. This was very upsetting since this was the main reason for our couples stay.

Matt & I were married on December 30, 2023, in the Boathouse!! The room, the stay, the wedding ceremony was everything we anticipated. Our officiant and host, Patrick Lewis is the best! Patrick made our day very special and was a gracious host. We will back on or before our next wedding anniversary.
