First time ever using one of these small format capsule-type hotels. Necessary to catch an early flight to Malta. A quick calculation showed that it would cost almost as much to take a taxi or Uber at such an early hour, as I wouldn’t rely on public transport at that time. Yotel was inexpensive, but clean, convenient and gets you to the plane bright-eyed and bushy-tailed without an obscenely early start to the day. The savings are obviously on size (the smallest hotel room you’ll ever book) and services (none). But who cares — it’s just a place to sleep. And I slept like a baby. The capsules are extremely soundproof and climate controlled with clean, good quality bedding and a TV at your feet. The bathroom is more of a wet room. Not quite the all-in-one toilet, sink and shower you’d find in a Winnebago, but close to it. Again, all you’re looking for in that situation is cleanliness and hot water — check and check. First time, not the last time. Will definitely look for an airport Yotel anywhere / anytime I need to catch an early morning flight.

We have been staying at the Hotel for a few weeks now. After long hours at work, we just wanted to stay somewhere where we can disconnect with work, relax and connect with other people. Nevertheless, I would like to share with everyone that Bar attendant (James) would always go that extra mile to ensure customer expectations are exceeded. Is not just about serving you a drink and taking orders. Excellent customer service by always interacting with customers, offering advice, friendly, accommodative making our staying very pleasant. I strongly believe that a good job should always be well recognised. Thank you for the high level of professionalism. Regards Ruben

The staff were friendly and one of the cleaners offered to take one of my suitcases to the elevator for me. The gym was a good size, although the elliptical trainer didn't work; the treadmill was fine. There is adequate space for a few people to do a HITT workout with some limited free weights. One of the reasons I booked my stay there is because it advertised a sauna and upon arrival I was informed this was the not the case. I was told that this was a *********** issue and that the hotel had never had a sauna. I think it would be a great asset to any hotel. It's the only reason I gave the rating of 4 out of 5 stars for facilities. The walk to the South terminal was easy and within a 10 minute walk. Coolest vending machine I've ever seen in the lobby of a hotel, just in case you needed some USB cables or international plugs. Such a great idea for a hotel! I would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed at this charming hotel with family to celebrate his cousin’s special birthday. Firstly, we were welcomed by very polite staff and shown to the bar as we were a little early. We were offered drinks etc. Booking into the hotel was very easy, and shown to our room which was beautiful, large, spotlessly clean and very comfy. We had a lovely four poster bed, relaxing seating, a television, tea and coffee facilities, as well as bottled water. The bathroom had a large shower, lots of hot water and a selection of toiletries to use. We enjoyed our lunch, which had a variety of choices to choose from, from sandwiches, burgers to delicious main courses and desserts. The function room was decorated beautifully in crisp white table clothes and black curtains around the room, it was first class. We had a choice of hot or cold buffet foods, all presented very professionally and all tasted just as good as it looked. We enjoyed a live band, who were amazing, followed by a disco to continue our evening. At breakfast we had a large choice from orange juice, cereals, cooked breakfast, croissants, teas and coffee etc. We could not fault our stay at this hotel, absolutely first class. All the staff were so polite and friendly and helpful. They were also all dressed so smartly. It is set off the road in large grounds, having well planted gardens. Overall, the hotel had relaxed ambiance and luxurious feel and beautifully decorated. We would recommend it in the future.

As regular Premier Inn guests, our stay at this hotel was great as usual. Spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. The only improvements which could be made are: the air con / heating system didn’t work properly as the screen said it required servicing. This should have been taken care of, but the oil filled radiator supplied in the room did the job. This hotel has cheap unbranded TV’s rather than the Samsung ones usually found across the chain. The remote control navigation is slow, gets rather frustrating after a while, this needs addressing. The car parking was £16 for 24 hours. I understand that a premium needs to be charged because of the proximity to the airport but premier inn guests should expect a cheaper rate.
