Woodlyn Guest House

I spent a long weekend at the Woodlyn Guest House and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Kev and Nikki were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and my room was both spacious and comfortable. The location is ideal, just a short walk from great pubs and restaurants and perfectly positioned as a base to explore the wider area. I’ll definitely be returning.

We stayed at this lovely B&B for a couple of nights over Easter and would wholeheartedly recommend. The hosts are extremely welcoming, and the room was lovely and big with a superking with high quality linens. We were very pleasantly surprised by a huge soaker tub in the big bathroom. Able to open the windows and have lovely fresh air in the room. Great breakfast. Would recommend and very reasonable for the price.

This is the nicest B&B we have ever stayed in. We stayed 2 nights while in the area for a wedding. The room, en suite and dining room were all spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice on the menu. Kevin and Nikki were great hosts. Highly recommend a stay here, excellent value!

A very welcoming and warm experience indeed. Nicky and Kev certainly put a lot of effort and energy into their house. The rooms are large, bright and clean, with a generous tea-making station. The beds and linens are sumptuously comfortable which, together with the extremely quiet location, guarantees an excellent night's sleep. Breakfasts are as variable as you like, with the very full Scottish a considerable challenge :-) Nicky and Kev provided us with a packed lunch every day, and took very good care of us - well beyond normal expectations - when we returned late in the evenings. If you are visiting this very special part of Scotland I can heartily recommend that you stay here. You'll be glad you did.

In Gatehouse of Fleet for a wedding in GG’s Yard. A fantastic stay, spotless, and very comfortable, delicious breakfast every morning, those sausages are delicious. All served with a smile and a lovely welcoming fire. We would definitely stay again. Beautiful area.
